Thank you to Zappos & ShopStyle Collective for sponsoring this post.
The Pacific Northwest in summer can be a fickle little place weather-wise, especially at the coast. Fortunately, I got to escape the heat of Portland for a couple of days and cozy up in a couple of early fall looks. So renewing. And the sunsets? Magical.
I’m still in a little bit of a ‘what do I actually want to wear right now’ mode, and when I find myself unsure of what I want to put on? I go back to my favs.
Zappos Faves: 2 Casual Fall Looks With My Go-To Levi’s
If you’ve been around here a bit, you have probably figured out my favs are typically some cool, broken-in jeans in a perfect wash, easy shoes and a comfy top. If it ain’t broke and all…
1. A Comfy Everyday Outfit I’ll Live In
And when it comes to these go-to outfits I don’t want to have to think about them too much. I want easy. And I want brands I know like Levi’s, Free People, Vans, Champion, Madewell, Fjallraven, The North Face — pieces that will fit well, look cute, and last.
And we know we can find all the shoes at Zappos, but they have so many of our favorite clothing brands there, too! Talk about easy…

Friends. I am fully into collars on comfy tops right now. How rad is this collar on this Champion half-zip? It just totally ups the sweatshirt game here….And paired with my favorite Levi’s 501s and go-to slip-on Vans…hi local elementary school parents…you will see me in this loads. I sized up in the jeans (29 here) for a looser fit when they break-in, but if you want a more fitted look, stick to your regular size.

I love, love this picture right here. This gal loves her frisbee time so much. My doggo Camper got to come with me to enjoy the coast while my fam brought home our new-to-us, 8-year-old cat rescue, Bernie, back home. Spoiled much? We are animal people. What can I say?

Back to the clothes…there’s my little mint green Fjallraven moment…I’ve had that mini bag for months now, and I love how handy it is and how happy that color makes me. You know I recently blabbed about my love for gray tops and it just looks perf with gray and holds just the right amount of stuff for a little stroll.

2. Levi’s Elevated With Mules & A Free People Sweater
Sweater | Jeans | Mules | Necklace Set
Look at those long cozy sleeves? Yup. Free People knows how to do the coziest sweaters. This cardigan is a great mid-weight cotton slub/boucle type knit that is soft and perfect for this transition between seasons. Love the flattering V-neck and the slightly cropped length. TTS for a slouchy fit…wearing a S.

And hello gorgeous taupe mules. These would be perfect for the office, too. I’m not really a ballet flats gal, but I am a mules gal. This is the second pair of this style I own from Steve Madden, and they’re the best for slipping on when you want a little shine and a little dressier look than a sneaker.
Mules have been my go-to, non-sneaker choice for years. These are so soft, and have just enough support without being clunky… and again, that color. They also come in black leather.

Last but not least, because I wear them all the time, are these pretty coin necklaces by Madewell. They’re beautiful with V-necklines and the weight of the pendants make them stay in place much better than other necklace combos I’ve tried. They have a brushed finish and a classic look. I have had this set for years now and am so glad they continue to offer it. I don’t like to fuss with a bunch of jewelry, so this set makes it easy!
More Of My Go-To Faves At Zappos
Love that I was able to find some of our truly favorite pieces at Zappos. Many of these below are the things I continually come back to year after year, especially when I want to put on those reliable items I don’t have to think about too much.
What are some of your easy pieces you are drawn to for these transitional seasons? Transitions are hard so we should keep the getting dressed easy, amiright?
xo,
L
