An Everyday Jogger with Inclusive Sizing

You know what never seems to forsake me? A good pair of joggers. I can fluctuate in weight and joggers are still my friend. I can be comfortable in an airplane, I can be ready to climb a mountain, I could be dressing for a date night or even just be eating Oreos from my living room couch — all while happily wearing a pair of joggers.

The Size-Inclusive Joggers I’m Obsessed With For Everyday Wear

What are joggers, exactly? While an internet search might try to convince you that they’re for — well, jogging (oh yeah, something else I can do in them!!!) — they usually just have a few key features: elastic waist, cuffed ankles, relaxed fit in the leg. They don’t have to be made out of sweats material, either — in fact, my current favorite pair I’ve been reaching for are the Pilcro Mallory Joggers from Anthropologie, made from Tencel (which means: silky soft). Bonus: these come in petite, regular, tall and plus sizing depending on which color you choose!

I found Anthro’s Pilcro Mallory Joggers during a sale last fall; I wasn’t sure if they were an item that was going to stick around or if they were headed for clearance, so I grabbed them immediately in standard length (I’m 5’9″ for reference). Flash forward a few months when the heavens parted and the angel chorus began echoing — because I found them restocked!

How To Style Anthropologie’s Pilcro Mallory Joggers

Joggers | Sandals | Sweatshirt (similar)

While I personally think elastic waist pants are very forgiving and can be worn in a few sizes, I would suggest going down one size in these. The ankle cuff on these pants are not fitted — you can see this on the models wearing them online if you look closely (and read about it in the reviews) — but I found the cuffs to be even looser than I expected in real life, including the waistband. Other things to note are that the pockets are truly amazing (can fit my large cell phone comfortably), and if you’re a real go-getter type, there’s even a little loop to attach your keys!

Fit notes: I’m wearing a medium, my usual size, but I would say they are pretty big (I really depend on the drawstring for hold) — I would have loved a small, but they were sold out when I went to try for an exchange, and I wasn’t sure they would come back in stock. I loved them so much I chose to keep what I had! Size down in the pants if you run lanky like me for a more fitted look and less baggy cuffs — or order true to your size if you are curvy and/or want them more relaxed! PS — the sweatshirt is a part of the Levi’s x Target collab and literally just sold out, I linked the others that are left in the collab!

The looser ankle cuff on these joggers would actually be a fantastic win if you are someone who doesn’t like the feeling of a tight cuff on pants, and/or if you find that your legs usually need some extra wiggle room in that area! The waist includes a drawstring that can be pulled to your preferred fit, so ordering your regular size still works. These features, in my opinion, make them the ultimate pants for all leg shapes and sizes.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to rock these Pilcro Mallory Joggers!

1 | The Perfect Travel Outfit

Lately I’ve been reaching for Anthro's Pilcro Mallory Joggers -- Tencel & silky soft. Bonus: they come in petite, regular, tall & plus sizing depending on the color!

Joggers | Graphic Tee | Shoes | Fleece Jacket

These pants are ideal for the airplane or long days in the car. Tencel is a super soft, almost silk-like material that is gentle on the skin and can easily be worn all day. They have an almost cooling-ability to them, keeping you comfortable even though they are long pants. Throw on your favorite travel t-shirt, grab an oversized hoodie or your fav fleece to pull on when you get cold, and shoes that can be easily kicked off for comfort!

Fit Notes: The graphic tee is sooo soft, and I’m wearing a large for a good oversized comfy vibe. Sneakers are made from wool and are sustainable — so, so, so comfy!

2 | Ready to Climb a Mountain

Lately I’ve been reaching for Anthro's Pilcro Mallory Joggers -- Tencel & silky soft. Bonus: they come in petite, regular, tall & plus sizing depending on the color!

Joggers | Plaid (similar) | Tank (similar) | Hiking Boots (similar)

Okay, Michigan doesn’t exactly have mountains, but we have some pretty epic hiking trails that these pants are good for (and like, totally cute). I love how the cuff looks with my hiking boots, and socks can tuck up nicely underneath them, keeping you dry and clean no matter the terrain. I always find myself reaching for a plaid when I’m dressing for the trails, it’s an easy + light layer!

Fit Notes: The tank was exclusive to the local San Diego shops, but I linked the same exact tank, just different print/colors! For my hiking boots — omg, these are the best. Mine are an old outdated style, but I linked a current pair — and here’s another. I do a lot of hiking and love the ankle support and traction these have! My plaid is a vintage men’s Wrangler, but I linked new Wrangler styles for you!

3 | Dressed Up for Date Night

Lately I’ve been reaching for Anthro's Pilcro Mallory Joggers -- Tencel & silky soft. Bonus: they come in petite, regular, tall & plus sizing depending on the color!

Joggers | Bodysuit | Boots (similar) | Hat

Since these joggers aren’t sweats material, they can be dressed up without too much effort! I’m not a big dressy person, but I love adding a hat when I want to look a little more cute (the hubs loves hats, too). This one I’m wearing comes in this fabulous Rose color that I’m drooling over just a bit. Also, this bodysuit is on sale and fully stocked!

4 | Dressed Down for the Couch

Lately I’ve been reaching for Anthro's Pilcro Mallory Joggers -- Tencel & silky soft. Bonus: they come in petite, regular, tall & plus sizing depending on the color!

Joggers | Hoodie | Slippers

I mean, is anything easier to dress for than a few lazy hours on the couch? I’m keepin’ it cozy with a hoodie and slippers; those are what I’m always reaching for when staying in for the evening!

5 | Channeling Those Sporty Vibes

Lately I’ve been reaching for Anthro's Pilcro Mallory Joggers -- Tencel & silky soft. Bonus: they come in petite, regular, tall & plus sizing depending on the color!

Joggers | Crop Tank Bra | Hoodie | Running Shoes

Maybe the one thing I’m not actually doing in these is going for a jog, simply because I prefer leggings. But in the event you find yourself needing to race down the street after your dog, these will get you moving faster than jeans or even thick sweatpants! Rocking them in an athleisure sort of way — looking sporty without actually being on my way to the gym — is super cute. I paired them with my actual running shoes (don’t mind the dirt), one of my favorite hoodies to warm-up in (or do a whole workout in, depending on the weather), and a crop tank sports bra!

Fit Notes: My sneakers are many seasons old, but they’re trusty & TTS (wearing 9 1/2). The new version is linked — these are so good for working out!

Anthropologie has the most incredible selection of joggers. If the Mallory Joggers don’t quite make you swoon like they do for me, here are a few others that would be amazing to wear this season! Psst — many of these have some incredible print options if you open and look, and many offer plus sizes, too!!

Cheers!
