Lace Is Having A Moment Right Now: 3 Ways I’m Wearing It

Over the past few months, I have been obsessed with all things lace. Lace undies, lace tops, and seriously cute AF lace activewear.

Lace is popping up all over the internet right now. As luck would have it, I find myself with a small collection of lace items that I can’t stop wearing, including this ultra-sexy spaghetti strap bodysuit with a low back and the prettiest lace pattern. It looks stellar with maxi skirts and slinky slip skirts too.

How I’m Styling Lace From Athleisure to Date Night

I absolutely love how elegant and sexy lace makes every outfit feel. It’s such a fun way to add interesting texture to any look.

Here are three ways I am wearing lace right now…

1. Tomboy Aesthetic: Lacey Adidas Tee & Cargo Pants

This adidas lace baby tee is perfect with these plus size cargo pants.

I have a serious obsession with adidas. It is one of my favorite places to shop for plus-size clothing — especially as a sporty babe who loves an elevated athleisure look. And when I saw this stunning adidas lace baby tee, I knew I needed it. I am wearing an XL in the tee and love that the lace gives my tomboy aesthetic a more flirty and feminine flare.

2. Monochromatic Lace: All-Black Everything

It's safe to say that cargo pants are now my sweatpants for the summer months. Just add a place bodysuit.

One thing about me: I love a monochromatic outfit, and if it’s in all black… even better! There is something about an all-black outfit that feels sleek and edgy. What I love about incorporating lace is that it adds textural interest and elevates an already cool vibe.

P.S. It’s safe to say that cargo pants are now my sweatpants for the summer months. They feel just as comfy as sweats, yet the lightweight more breathable material keeps me much cooler in warm temps. I recently had these PLT cargos tailored and wow did it make a difference with the fit for me. I love these so much that I own them in several colors, and can’t stop wearing them.

3. Date Night Deluxe: Lace Bodysuit & A Mesh Skirt

This date night outfit is serving all the trends in one look: mesh, lace, silver, + a pop of Barbie pink.

This last outfit is serving ALL the trends in one look: mesh, lace, silver, and a pop of Barbie pink! I absolutely love how the ensemble came together. This take on lace is by far the sexist of all three outfits, something I would wear for a luxe date night out with my imaginary boyfriend, or let’s be real…with myself! If you are looking for the va va voom factor, then this lace bodysuit is a must!

Shop More Lace Favorites

While most lace pieces are still heavily dominated by high-end designers like Acne Studios and Jason Wu, there are some seriously pretty items that are making their way down to street style and everyday brands.

Would love to hear your thoughts on all things lace, and I’m curious if you’ve given this trend a try.
