This summer is all about comfort for me. I just started the third trimester of my pregnancy and I feel like my belly doubled in size overnight. I outgrew all of the linen pants that I usually wear in the summer, so I wanted to see if I could find a pair that would work for this summer….I do LOVE my linen pants.
Enter these Caslon linen pants.
I ordered both the Regular and Petite size Small, tried them on, WASHED them, and tried them on again. They both shrank a bit and the petites ended up being just a tad too short, while the Regular size were just a tad too long to wear with flats. I ended up keeping the Regular size because most of my shoes have at least a bit of a heel. (In these pics, though, I’m wearing them with Birkenstocks so you can see how they’re a bit long on me.)
I love them. They fit under my belly and are crazy comfortable. A bonus is that I’ll be able to wear these linen pants even after I have this little guy.
psst! This post was originally published three (maybe 4?) years ago, but when we saw that the Caslon linen pants were back in stock, we had to republish – they’re really good (and pretty timeless, too).

When wearing a pair of baggy pants like that, you have to wear a fitted top to balance it out. The oversized tank top just makes it look like you are wearing pajamas or oversized lounge around the house outfits that are not for leaving the house, especially when wearing black and grey. I would try a fitted tank or shirt in a bright color when paired with those pants. I think it would look nicer and more put together.
So true Ann Marie, but I think her shiny non-pj accessories balance out the pj leaning of this outfit. At least that’s my hope as I keep trying this combo as well with my post pregnancy body.
Love these pants! They’re perfect for an upcoming beach vacation. You look fantastic Scotti- you are glowing!
I’m very confused about timing- Scotti had a post on Sunday that had her not pregnant and now she’s in her 3rd trimester?
Oh geez – when we republish posts we usually put a little note in there somewhere – it looks like we forgot.
