How I’m Wearing The Fisherman Half-Zip Sweater (An NSale Hidden Gem Under $50)

This BDG sweater had been on my Nordstrom wish list, and while I overlooked it for a bit, I’m so glad it is now in my possession. It looks super cute with a variety of looks…like with rad color-blocked boots and jeans…and then in a whole comfy athleisure moment, too.

Versatile, cozy AND reasonably priced…I might need it in both colors!

1. The Fisherman Half-Zip Sweater Styled With Killer Western Boots

OK, so we’ve established the sweater is cute, cozy and soft. Btw, it’s also TTS for a slightly oversized look. Wearing a small here.

But let’s now get into these rad Matisse Carson boots too. They have a slightly mod/slightly western vibe, really cool color-blocking, and a taller shaft. This keeps them current and on-trend, and easy to wear with straight-leg and wide-leg jeans. LOVE them. They fit TTS. I can tell they’re already breaking in beautifully too and will be a really go-to pair for all fall.

This AllSaints Bag Adds The Perfect Accent

And you’ve seen this AllSaints bag before. I adore it. It’s structured, a gorgeous color, and holds everything I need. I thought the backpack + shoulder straps would annoy me but it’s the perfect combo for being able to wear it both ways. And did I mention how gorgeous the color is? Fav. I’ve been carrying it since the day I picked it up.

The Straight Leg Jeans That Pull It All Together

Last, but not least, these are the stretchy PAIGE Cindy Ripped straight leg jeans you’ve seen on a whole bunch of the team. I’m typically a black jeans gal for fall, but these were so comfy I had to give them a try and I’m glad I did!

I hacked mine off to show a little more of the killer boots. I’m 5’4″ for reference and cut about 1.5″ off. Wearing my true size 28 here and they’re great! Soft, high waisted but don’t kill my waist and have that cool bit of distressing I love. They’re slim but not skinny, so they fit over my ankle boots well.

2. Still Cute: The Fisherman Half-Zip Sweater + Athleisure (Aka The Comfiest adidas Ever & My Fav Zella Leggings)

Keep It Comfy With Zella Leggings

I was gonna throw on a sweatshirt with these Zella Restore leggings but happened to have the BDG sweater on already…and loved the combo.

You’ve heard me rave about these incredibly soft, joggers-meet-leggings in the past and I was stoked to see them in the Nordstrom Sale again this year! They are magically soft, a bit thicker than most leggings and so wearable for an easy athleisure look. Yep, I’m definitely thinking school drop-off outfit for this fall.

The leggings run true to size (wearing a S) and have a comfy high waist. The stretchy fabric accommodates a range of heights too and this 5’4″ gal is stoked they are a great length on me. (Available in XXS – XXL)

Um, and hi, look at us in our adidas sneaks together. Soaking in these moments where she still asks to come on photoshoots with me and sit in my lap and have fun picking out clothing together. I know it won’t last forever.

For self-preservation purposes, I will now move on from being sappy about my girlie and tell you how much we both adore our shoes here. S has been wearing her water-resistant adidas Superstar Booties non-stop…even though one could argue they’re a little warm for this time of year. Haha.

And I FINALLY got on board with everyone’s favorite adidas Swift Run sneaks. They are so comfy and look so cool and chic. Uh, yep, I now have them in two colors even. (They run a half-size large and have plenty of room in the toe-box, btw.)

I will always treasure this fun little time with this spunky gal of mine…who adores running up and down sidewalks for our dear friend and photog Posy to get just the right action-packed pic. I’m still trying to figure out how to wrangle some of that energy of hers for myself. And just to keep it real…here’s also what’s going on while we do this thing…

Haha…never a dull moment. I’m sure you can relate.
