3 Things I Can’t Wait To Wear This Fall

In years past, I would be ready to pull out all of my thick, comfy sweaters and cute boots right about now… But this year, I’m looking for something a bit easier. As fall draws closer, I’m hoping to still utilize a lot of my favorite summer pieces in my outfits. I want the same casual, breezy vibes I love so much from summer dressing to extend into my fall wardrobe — while just making them a bit cozier.

There are a few things I’m most excited about to help me accomplish this summer-to-fall transition, and they include my Birkenstock Boston suede clogs, my forever-favorite fleece jacket from Free People, and the entire concept of “Princess Diana’s athleisure” look.

I’m breaking down why these three pieces are going to be really fantastic for fall. And while none of them are new items or style ideas, I think they’re all going to be wildly popular (and so easy to wear) this next season!

Let’s be friends on Instagram! Sharing life from my sleepy little beach town, daily style, makeup favorites, Gilmore Girl binge-athons and endless cups of coffee — all with a good dose of adorable toddler content too.

  1. Has anybody found the Bostons in stock in a light color like Amy has? I love the “stone” and “tobacco” but they seem out of stock everywhere, sadly.

    • Literally, EVERYWHERE. I’m watching like a hawk for restocks… when I see some I’ll make sure to splash it all over our social media channels!!

  2. I snagged the Tobacco last December and wore them every day. Even in full-fledged east coast winter complete with cute wool socks. Jeans, leggings, lounge pants… Can’t wait to break them out again in the fall.

    • I LOVE the sounds of that — also so happy to hear you’re rocking with wool socks, I personally think socks with boston clogs is incredibly cute!!
