I’ve always loved holidays . . . and being that my birthday is right around Mother’s Day, this one is extra special. Greenlea takes after me and gets excited about anything holiday- (or birthday-) related. If it involves an opportunity for treats of any kind — she’s 100% in (see donuts with sprinkles below). I love her enthusiasm, and I knew she’d love wearing special matching outfits for Mother’s Day just as much as I would. When I showed these pjs and matching dresses to her, she ran into her room to try everything on, and immediately started planning our Mommy-Daughter Day (which may or may not have revolved around the treats we would be eating).

Matching PJs for Breakfast in Bed & Morning Snuggles
If there’s anything better than snuggling in bed with your kids, it’s eating donuts, drinking mimosas (orange juice) and snuggling in bed with your kids. Breakfast in bed is like a tradition on Mother’s Day, but I’m thinking we should do this way more often. (And by “breakfast,” I mean donuts and mimosas.) We don’t normally let Greenlea eat food in bed, so she was super-excited about this special celebration. The matching pjs were like the icing on the cake sprinkles on the donut.

Matching Outfits for Mommy-Daughter Days
I LOVE matching outfits at Greenlea’s age. I have only so much time to soak up all of her eagerness and excitement and willingness to wear matching outfits before she grows out of it and refuses to match me. So for now I’m going to wear allll the matching outfits and take my girl out for ice cream. With sprinkles.

A huge thank-you to JCPenney for sponsoring this post! Greenlea and I had so much fun matching and having an excuse to have a special Mommy-Daughter Day! As always, all thoughts, opinions, and product choices are my own. And readers, thank you SO much for your continued support. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and is so very much appreciated!
First off: Scotti and Greenlea are *adorable*.
Second: Y’all really need to deal with your sponsored content. It’s getting frustrating. First, you put the disclaimer at the bottom. Now you aren’t including it at all?
I’m losing trust. Quickly.
Thank you for the comment about G and I and THANK YOU for the catch! Totally unintentional . . . it’s in there now!
I want to give another shout out to Lottas. I’ve had several pairs for over 3 years and they’ve held up really well and are a good way for new clog wearers to try out real wooden bases. I also agree with you about Dansko being the best for overall comfort. I really like the look of Delphina style of Dansko’s but am hesitant to pull the trigger because of the heel height.
