  1. Speaking of swim, while you guys are compiling this year’s swim guide, I’d love to see a section on one-piece suits for us long torso gals. I have the hardest time swimsuit shopping because of my long torso. I’m not especially tall (5’6″), but just have a very long torso. And thanks to a super emergent c-section with my first baby, I have a lovely VERTICAL c-section scar, so even though I look otherwise nice in a two-piece, and it fits the torso, I’m always self-conscious about the scar. And forget the high-rise bikini bottom. I’m very fit, but have small hips and a rectangular shape (not much waist definition thanks to the small hips and large ribcage), so the high-waist style just emphasizes my lack of feminine curves and looks very weird. ALL the long torso suits I can find online are either also plus-size with lots of ruching (not what I need) or very “mumsy” (looking at you Lands End). Same with the tankinis. Is there any hope?

    • YES!!! I need this, too! Long torso and pear-shaped. And a tummy that wasn’t there before having my son. Tankinis tend to work but I’m bored with them.

  2. Cute suits but most of them look like they have little to no support in the top. You know, for those of us that have well loved, road weary, d cup plus breasts. I know that those suits aren’t typically super fashion forward but there has to be SOMETHING out there for us that isn’t awful.
