Here we are — the best bags from the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It wouldn’t be the sale if we didn’t highlight our favorite bags and editor picks.

Most of these bags scream autumn — with their dark, plush colors — and we can’t wait to sport them. Ranging from saucy leopard prints to forest green dual-tone totes, each TME editor has selected their one favorite, their top pick — the one bag that got them clicking ‘add to cart’.  So…without further ado….

The Best Bags From the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Laura’s Favorite (And Mine, Too)

Rebecca Minkoff Lucy Leather Belt Bag

Laura says: I’ve been searching for the right belt bag lately and this is it. Chic, but oh so convenient for hands-free walking the dog, holding the kiddo’s hand, traveling, etc. And you can just slip this style inside your larger tote for everyday use. I have a cute nylon waist bag, and I can step it up a notch with this. LOVE!

I plan on taking it with me to Berlin this summer – a perfect hands-free option.  And the color in this stock photo is not it’s true color – check out my personal photo instead.  That’s actually how it looks.

Gwen’s Favorite

rag & bone Walker Suede Tote

Gwen says: When S grabbed this bag to try on for early access, I fell in LOVE. It’s just oversized enough, and the softest suede (not to mention the most gorgeous olive green). I currently have this in my cart and may have to treat myself…

Alexis’ Favorite

Leith Asymmetrical Zip Faux Leather Tote Bag & Zip Pouch

Alexis says: So, in addition to the Rebecca Minkoff Lucy Leather Belt Bag that everyone else on the team is grabbing, I’m going with this low-cost, autumn tote. I’ve been spending way too much on bags lately — just ask Gwen, A and S — but this style, color and price really speak to me and make me eager for fall.

Scotti’s Favorite

Genuine Calf Hair Leopard Print Clutch

Scotti says: I love small clutches like this that carry only the essentials and look like a piece of jewelry themselves. This one will go with everything and is perfect for adding a touch of fun to any outfit.

Julieta’s Favorite (And My Other Favorite)

Rebecca Minkoff Medium Keith Suede & Leather Satchel

Julieta says: I couldn’t believe it when I saw this bag was part of the sale. It’s gorgeous! It’s easy to dress up and down. Be aware though: it looks spacious, but it can’t hold too much weight as the snap pops open easily. Maybe I was trying to use it as a diaper bag? That could explain it!

A’s Favorite

Cathy’s Concepts Personalized Faux Leather Clutch

A says: So here’s how this goes…I LOVE all things white and a splash of leather.  And then you make it special, all mine, and throw my initial on it, which also for me is my nickname….and I’m just all happy.  And then…And then…the white gets stained in real life, and this becomes my fav dop kit, jewelry travel pack, make-up case…you know, for my two lip glosses.  And my mom is totally getting one with a big giant K on it for her bday.  B/c she’s also a sucker for white+leather+an initial.  xoxo A

Jess’ Favorite

Treasure & Bond Remy Pebbled Leather Backpack

Jess says: I’m a sucker for leather backpacks, especially ones big enough to slip your laptop in for working on the go.

Tiarra’s Favorite

Ted Baker London Bow Leather Crossbody

Tiarra says: A cute crossbody bag says “mama’s off duty and ready for date night!” Not to mention, backpacks are often banned at concert venues, so a smaller bag is a must-have.

Cam’s Favorite (And My Third Fav)

Leith Bicolor Faux Leather Cylinder Bag

When we asked the TME editors to send over their favorite bag pick….Cam could barely manage to talk, much less type, citing the fact that she had just “birthed a post”.  So allow me to talk Cam for her:  “Yo yo yo whasssup?  It’s Cams.  I like this bag, yeh.  I also like to misspell ‘yeh’ instead of ‘yeah’ just to drive you all crazy.  There’s nada you can do about it.  Also, I’m tall.  Nada we can do about that.  But this Fall is about the 70’s and this bag has that structured-but-unstructured look I like.  Yeh.  I like it.”  #loveyouCams

My Fourth Favorite Bag (And The TME Team Favorite)

Since Laura, then Julieta, and then, finally, Cams all beat me to the punch…let me highlight my fourth favorite bag.  A bag that only hits my fourth spot because I own a version (or two) of this bag already.  A bag that has been inducted into the TME Team Hall of Fame for looks, practicality, and comfort.  We’ve stuffed this bag full of crap, we’ve taken this bag all over the world, and we’ve worn this bag out to restaurants, to the park, and everything in between.  So if you haven’t yet picked up a a Rebecca Minkoff Julian backpack yet, you’re in for a treat.  The version in the sale is nylon and studded, giving it a really cool street vibe I love.  It’s also the larger Julian, so it should fit a ton of stuff (but always be comfortable to wear – it’s an engineering marvel).

A Few of Our Favorite Nordstrom Bags, In Action

Ignore my messy hair.  It’s been a week.

ONE (Me): topbag | jeans | boots (all from the sale)

TWO (Julieta): bag

THREE (Me): My old Julian Fringe backpack, but it’s the same size as the studded Julian in the sale
