I’m in love with this sweater dress. I love finding a piece like this that I know I’ll wear over and over again throughout the fall and winter. It’s super-soft and not too tight or clingy. And I mean around the stomach and neck area. You know those turtlenecks where it feels like you’re wearing a neck brace? And your neck starts feeling trapped and itchy and you just keep pulling on the turtleneck trying to stretch it out? (I know it can’t just be me, right?) Anyway, this turtleneck? Perfect. I’m wearing it now with bare legs, and when it gets colder, I’ll layer it over some fun patterned tights, comfy leggings or jeans. (Skinnies would be the obvious choice, but I think it might be fun to layer it over flares . . . what do you guys think?)

THIS — This sweater dress. The perfect fall & winter outfit. Soft. Not too tight. Wear it w/ bare legs or layer it over fun patterned tights, leggings or jeans.

Outfit Details

dress: Topshop Turtleneck Sweater Dress (s), also in olive green, and light or dark grey (and I’m pretty sure I need another color). (More sizes here.)

coat: Thread & Supply Double-Breasted Coat (s), I’ve had this coat for YEARS. The price (even before the sale price of under $40) is amazing (as is their newest leopard print), but they’re sold out of the burgundy. So if you’re looking for that color, I’ve rounded up a couple options below.

boots: (similar) Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn Logan Boot, I’m in love with this color right now. It goes with everything, and I love the chunky heel on this boot (more sizes and colors here).

  1. Is the color you’re wearing called “Oat”? Because onscreen it looks white/ivory, and I love it — but at the shopping sites it looks more beige (which I would not like).
