By now, you’re probably pretty aware of our love for Everlane…both as a company and as an outfitter. So, when they recently reached out asking us to try a few things for spring, I was so stoked! They strive for transparent business practices and craft seriously well-made basics, plus feature some recycled items in their line-up. They’re about to launch a zero-impact sneaker, too! Fab. Shana, Julieta and I have all discovered a love of their skinny jeans, and I’ve had a raincoat of theirs for a year now that is by far my favorite raincoat (that’s saying a lot for a PNW gal).
In true form, I focused on color when I chose the pieces to try, and I came up with a couple of fun, everyday looks you can easily work into your spring and summer wardrobe. Some of these pieces would be great for a causal office, too. Friends, look at me not wearing jeans and smiling about it?! You know they must be good.
Black, Caramel & Red
This is a fun look that’s really pulled together by the pop of red in the Day Glove flats. These shoes are so good, y’all. Insanely comfy and wearable right out of the box. The shade of red is just spot-on, too. Love the high-rise, wide leg pants. They’re a nice heavier material and very well made. I will hem mine a couple of inches I think though, to get a nice ankle crop I think is most flattering.
tank: Everlane The Linen Picnic Top (Size 4) – So cute and summery and lovely. And you can wear a regular bra with this! It has that feeling of handmade in the best way…quality and lasting and cut just right. TTS.
pants: Everlane Wide Leg Crop Patch Pocket Pants (Size 4) – TTS and so well made. Sadly, my color seems to be out of stock right now, but either the navy or olive would work beautifully in this look. And here’s another pant style in the caramel color I’m wearing.
shoes: Everlane The Day Glove – Can’t say enough good things. I’m not a flats girl, typically, but these are so flattering and so comfy. I’m wearing my regular size, and they’re just a tiny bit long, but otherwise stay on and fit perfectly.
bag: Everlane The Form Bag – I don’t typically carry a very structured bag, but this is fabulous. It’s easy to carry and holds plenty…making it definitely more of a tote or briefcase style than just a purse. I love it. It even holds a small laptop well for work. The magnetic closure across the top is my favorite part. This bag is in shade Bone.
White, Gray & Ivory
I’ve never met a pair of white pants I liked…until now. Again, these are a heavier cotton twill that doesn’t feel flimsy or see-through. They’re also just quality pants…and that sweatshirt. It’s a great cropped length for your high-rise pants and jeans, and super soft. I’m loving that it’s lighter weight for this time of year and perfect for layering over a tank or tee. Our current #TMEstylechallenge must have inspired me here with an all-neutrals look…and I think it reads sunny and fresh and chic! Maybe I’ll give up a little of my all black for a bit…
sweatshirt: Everlane The Lightweight French Terry Shrunken Hoodie (size Small) – My current go-to casual top. Soft and the perfect length with high-rise anything. TTS.
tank: Everlane The Cotton Muscle Tank (size Small) – Again, so super-soft and lovely. Runs large. I would size down to an XS, but I’m wearing a S here.
pants: Everlane The Straight Leg Crop (Size 4) – These are a great classic cut. I love the slightly preppy pants paired with the sweatshirt to make them more ‘me.’ They are great quality and a nice cropped length on me. They’d be quite cropped on taller mamas, FYI. TTS.
shoes: Everlane The Day Glove – Can’t say enough good things. I’m not a flats girl, typically, but these are so flattering and so comfy. I’m wearing my regular size and they’re just a tiny bit long, but otherwise stay on and fit perfectly. Wearing color Cream here.
bag: Everlane The Form Bag – I don’t typically carry a very structured bag, but this is fabulous. It’s easy to carry and holds plenty…making it definitely more of a tote or briefcase style than just a purse. I love it. It even holds a small laptop well for work. The magnetic closure across the top is my favorite part. This bag is in shade Light Khaki.
Shop My Current Everlane Favorites
Let us know any of your Everlane favorites you’ve tried out. Sometimes it’s just easier to have classic, quality basics to put together every morning, like a simple capsule wardrobe so you don’t have to think. I feel like Everlane totally lends itself to that.
I’m headed to Austin for the week for a conference, so send me all your Austin favorite eats! I’ve never been and am so excited to check it (queso/tacos/donuts) out! Have a great week, y’all.
Until next time…
Thank you so much to Everlane for sponsoring this post. We love feeling good shopping with you for some of our absolute favorite basics and go-to pieces.
