Anyone else have the Winter Blues? I’m giving into those and focusing on beautiful, rich, blue, fun home decor. I went Home Decor Sale Shopping, because those sales are super-fierce right now ,and got completely distracted by a new collaboration: Joanna Gaines + Anthropologie, decidedly not on sale, brand new, reasonably priced for its quality, and now I’m in love with these pillows, this rug, and these sweeties. But back to the blues and the sales…here we go!
/ Kate and Laurel Travis Round Wood Accent Wall Mirror: Well, hello there, blue beauty-of-an-oversized-circular-mirror-at-a-crazy-reasonable price. Wouldn’t three of these in a row be amazing?
/ Ainsley Table Lamps: Don’t freak about the price! That’s for a pair. And what a great pair they are —especially with that brass detailing on the base!
/ Butte 18″ Dome Aged Brass Pendant: Not willing to commit to blue base cabinets in your kitchen, but want to add a fresh pop of a gorgeous navy? Blue Pendants. Gorgeous blue dome pendants.
/ Daphne Slipper Chair Blue Dots: Slipper chairs are a great side chair solution, especially if you’re tight on space. Just skipping the arms of a chair, but leaving plenty of a comfy place to sit, works just about everywhere. Especially in a pair.
/ Cadet Large Matte Navy Blue Canister: You had me at hello, blue canister, but you really won my whole heart at Matte Navy Blue. These are good looking storage perfection.
/ Treasure & Bond Square Mango Wood Serving Board: But you aren’t blue…how did you end up in this arrangement? As a reminder to us all that wood beautifully offsets blues. That’s all.
/ Fuel Navy Credenza: I have long loved this piece. It’s just sleek, chic and super-functional. I love the clean lines and the shiny blue. Perfect for an entry, or for extra storage in a living or dining space.
/ Waiting on Waves: For my kids, the thrill is the catching the wave and the riding of it. I’m at a different stage in life, and nothing brings me more joy than floating just past the break line, waiting for them to come back out and need to be propelled into another ride. There’s just something magical and peaceful about it. And this print reminds me of that feeling. Peace. We all just need more Peace and Joy in our lives, even if it’s just a reminder of how that feels.
/ Funnel Neck Top – Navy Stripe: Again, stages of life…in aging, I’m hot. Temperature-wise. Almost all the time. I can’t wear anything that’s too clingy. But I also often sit at a screen for too many hours on end and get a little chilly. I love tops like this because they keep me both warm enough and cool enough at the same time. They breathe. And let me do the same. I also love them as much on a cool spring day as I do on a cool summer night. Pairs well with jeans and cut-off jean shorts. And therefore I can wear this everyday. And stripes. Of course stripes win.
/ Taavi Indigo Pillow: We have a Taavi in our lives. Maybe the name is why I’m obsessed with this pillow. Maybe it’s just because it’s awesome. Nope, probably mostly because he is.
/ Tufted Jordana Pillow: How about this gorgeous throw pillow that defies labeling and works just about everywhere, and comes in other fun colors too?
/ Indigo Plant Cell: There are multiples of this one that group well together. And I love when something reads as abstract art, but is actually really something. That gets me every time. Especially when it’s easy on the eyes.
/ News Flash: If this were a t-shirt, I’d gift it to each of my kids. If I had one I’d wear it everyday. I love graphics with loving messages as reminders of thoughts that actually travel from our hearts to our minds by the minute, but not necessarily out loud. Out loud and always is better.
/ Maze Rug, Shadow Blue: And hi there, transitional rug-that-works-just-about-everywhere. I’d like to layer it over jute, but just for fun. It stands plenty fine all on its own!
/ Stripe Blanket Throw – Threshold: Reasonably priced beautiful accent also great for cuddling.
/ Emery 84″ Blue Velvet Sofa: Blue velvet gets me all the time. Especially when paired with brass legs and great lines…and is comfortable! My mother would tell you blue is a neutral base. She’s not wrong, about half of that at least.
/ Navy Blue Campaign Nightstand: From the kids collection, but we’re all kids at heart, right? And comes as part of a collection, so if you happen to need a 3 drawer dresser, a wide dresser, or a tall bookcase with storage, those are available too!
