Weekly Sales Report 9.17

Happy Friday! I hope you’re enjoying these last few weeks of summer. Looks like we’ve got autumn on the mind, bringing all the cozy layers, exciting boots and chic bags.

Boots, Sweaters & Handbags: All The Ingredients For Fall Style, On Sale.

Staud has nailed the handbag game lately, and I’m kinda obsessed with this bucket bag Shana has in bordeaux (also in brown and black) — that color is so good for fall.

Linzi scouted soooo many good sweaters & layers from J.Crew that I don’t even know where to start! I’m most excited about this cardigan; it looks the perfect length for that drapey, casually oversized vibe. I’m also drooling over the super-relaxed fit of this sweater…it’s just so pretty how it sits on the model’s shoulders.

If you saw our Fall Trends We’re Actually Excited About article, you’ll remember that we’re all crushing on green tones for fall. Amy picked up these Staud boots (can you tell Staud is on our radar?) during the NSale and I can’t wait to see how she styles them.

Keep scrolling for more sales…and have a wonderful weekend!

Hey, hey weekend! Close enough. So…I’m officially a soccer mom now I guess. I avoided it for so long. Don’t worry, I haven’t given into a minivan (no shade if you have tho.) What do you do during all those practices and games though, friends? My gal is LOVING soccer so far, and it’s so cute, but like…it’s lots of time eh? Heh. She also starts hip hop today and while I’m stoked for it (former dancer here.) I can’t watch that one so I’m also bummed. Def the mom who would like to be learning the routine with my child. Haha. I guess that’s what Tik Tok dances are for. We do sometimes pop those up over on my Instagram for laughs if you wanna see.

Sales this weekend are rad. Best picks? These UGG Ultra Minis and The North Face fleece I rave about in a 1/4 snap pullover version. Yup. Gorgeously soft but still has cool structure. Have a good one, y’all. xo

Finally been cooking some real meals this week…nothing fancy (pasta bar, nacho night, enchilada soup), but feels good to at least cut back on take out. And… I’m super excited that for an upcoming post I get to try out the new Perfect Pot from Our Place. It just arrived and is SO pretty! Yes, I’m looking forward to cooking in it, but I have to admit… I’m most excited about it sitting full-time on my stove and the oh-so-convenient spoon nesting.

And now for sales…J.Crew is nailing it. This sweater is likely going to be my most-worn this coming month, and I’m seriously considering getting it in another color too. It’s a cotton-cashmere blend that feels great on (a great blend for fall weather) and the pockets in front add just enough interest. I’m working on a big J.Crew cardigan/blazer review post …they’re great and many are on sale right now. Also SO happy I ordered this very special FRAME top (now on sale). Planning on wearing it out to dinner this weekend with flares. Happy Weekend!

I recently went into Target for a few items…frozen waffles, an onion, popcorn (this stuff is AMAZING — organic 100% air-popped and seriously delicious), and ended up leaving with jeans (these are a great dupe for the Free People flares I love) and this amazingly soft top layer that I now want to wear over EVERYTHING and a bunch of other items I don’t need. I think it’s back to drive-up orders from Target for me…that store is dangerous!

This weekend is supposed to be super warm (80!? In Marquette?? In September! 🙌🏼) so we’re headed up to camp for what is probably the last weekend of swimming, laying on the dock and roasting marshmallows (I picked up the pumpkin-spiced ones during that Target trip). We’re so looking forward to it! Happy weekend, everyone!

Meredith’s Sale Picks

I’m shipping up to Boston (whoaaa) this weekend for a solocation (highly recommend). I have grand plans to safely explore my former college town through the eyes of a real adult, but I’ll probably spend most of my time catching up on sleep and ordering room service (no shame in my game).

Besides my vacation, I can’t stop thinking about Banana Republic’s rebrand. If you haven’t checked it out in a while it is SO good. Also, right now they are having a Friends & Family Event, 40% off + Extra 20% off for cardholders with code BRFAMILY. I highly recommend checking out these straight-fit pants I own in green and this swoonworthy trench.

Can you believe we’re in the second half of September?! My head is spinning. Just when I thought it was officially #SweaterWeather, the forecast shells out 80s for our future — it’s that classic Michigan confusion that forever has me getting creative with my closet, and my easiest solution is athletic wear. It’s the cutest and arguably easiest thing to layer up. I’ve been rocking these leggings (on sale in a different color over here) with a longline sports bra and some sort of varying top layer depending on the temp of the moment. But when the day comes that I can officially rock sweaters and boots everyday (which honestly, won’t be long now) I’ll be soooo excited to pull out these babies (currently on major sale!!). Happy weekend, babes!! Xx

Em’s Sale Picks

Hey hey, friends — another Friday here already. What is happening?! Somehow the return to school and quasi-real life has accelerated things tremendously over here. Not complaining, really — I’m excited for full-on fall (and only slightly mourning the summer we’ve still yet to fully realize here in Fog City). Unwinding in the evenings with a complete re-watch of Friday Night Lights seems to be doing the trick, though. Chris and I always swore we’d re-watch that show if we ever had a daughter, ha. Who needs parenting books when you have Connie Britton?

Couple of super fun finds in sales this week — if you missed the Vince Pima dress from the NSale, it’s back in stock and 40% off — and Anthro’s got additional 30% off sale. Despite the fact that I am not at all a tunic person, pairing this pretty knit tunic with leggings or joggers and mules seems like a speedy shortcut to Gallery Curator vibes (my favorite alter ego that I so rarely channel). Have a great weekend, folks.

Happy Friday, beautiful people! It’s getting down to crunch time with my move and I still have a LOT to do! Yet I somehow keep finding myself online shopping, and watching hours and hours of reviews for cookware. I think I have landed on this Green Pan set (not currently on sale) and am excited that I can purchase them from Nordstrom just in case I have buyer’s remorse. If you have pans you love, let me know in the comments!

Last weekend I also found myself at Banana Republic and found some pretty stellar sleeveless sweaters that were on sale. Their Friends & Family sale (also this weekend) is convincing me I may have to wander back into the store. Cheers to a great weekend ahead y’all! XX – Kat

I’m fully back to my routine in NY, and this week my favorite thing was to do a commentary on the Met Gala’s attendees’ color choices. If we’re not friends on IG or you didn’t catch my stories yesterday, you can check my IG highlights; they’re titled “Color: Met”. You’ll learn a lot!. Another thing that made me immensely happy as a person of Indigenous descent was to see Indigenous model Quannah Chasinghorse rocking her first NYFW and turning heads at the Met Gala. Stunning!

Remember to check Farm Rio’s sale for unique fun pieces. I’m obsessed with this windbreaker. While you’re there check their new fall stuff for fun cold weather pieces.
