This summer girl is suddenly craving sweaters. Or even worse, sweater SETS. Tori found this and this and I need it. It has been THE summer of sales—-and it just keeps going! I absolutely found the best Labor Day STEALS at Anthropologie (50% additional off sale items!), but they’re final sale, so that’s tricky. It’s worth taking a look, though, because the prices are really ridiculous (especially if you know your sizing well or have friends your size who can enjoy what doesn’t work for you). My second favorite sale this weekend is Boden—I’m in LOVE with their fall line…so vibrant, so playful and 20% off women and 25% off kiddos. Loft has some good basics at 40% off, some good MOTHER denim at Shopbop, and I found some Eileen Fisher pieces on super sale at Nordstrom…I’m always SO happy to see those classic (but pricey) pieces on sale. I’ve been a little M.I.A from weekly sales report the past few weeks, but these Labor Day Sales were too good for me to pass up! BaubleBar is up to 80% sitewide, plus free shipping when you spend $25 or more (I found so many cute pairs of earrings), American Eagle/Aerie is 25-60% off EVERYTHING and I went a little nuts stocking up on sweatshirts for fall but if you know… you know. Last but certainly not least, H&M is taking 30% off $200, 20% off $100 or 10 off $50. I was in New York City last weekend and went NUTS in h&m… there’s so so many good things for the fall right now, my favorite purchase was this Wool Blend Knit Skirt. Hey hey, Friday. We eased back into school this week (and by eased I mean were thrown in head first…) on Wednesday and now we all need this three day weekend to recover. I think it’s the first weekend in a while where we have little to no plans and I’m stoked. Our trip to Calgary was AMAZING and Sienna was also amazingly difficult, so yeah, I’m just gonna sit and stare at the wall maybe? And have some pizza. Haha. Obvs. Anyhoo, the sales are good. I want all the things below. I will refrain though and probably just order the Levi’s hoodie, the LOFT hoodie (both great for layering!) and the Boden dress to compare to my other LBD from my recent post. Here we are, guys. Where did summer go!? We’re spending this last weekend before school starts hosting my best friend and her BF, brunching in the city (trying to nab a table at one of the trendier spots while the Burners are still, uh, burning…?) and hopefully logging a few hours at the beach. As for shopping — woof! I tried to keep my picks to my very favorite items from some of my very favorite retailers. Macy’s has all four of our most-used kitchen electrics on sale for stellar prices (hello, holiday shopping!) and Lucky is killing it with printed sweaters and graphic T’s, as usual. This gauzy black dress from J.Crew is giving me all the Stevie Nicks feels (considering snagging it for a fall wedding and then pairing it with cowboy boots and a trench for weekday wear) and ShopBop’s got loads of my favorite Levi’s on sale, so I plan to stock-up. (These are a must!) And this minimal, year-round wreath is so pretty and would be easy to style up for every season — thinking of getting it for the back of our pantry door, or maybe our entryway. My husband’s birthday is on Tuesday but he already declared he wants to celebrate all this holiday weekend. Best way to start it? Some friends invited us to go to some family waterpark in Connecticut so we’re bringing our two crazy boys.(Definitely the least relaxing way but #parentslife) Hoping is not too crowded as I don’t love crowds. So SALES!!! I’m loving Bloomingdales lately a LOT! They are having extra discounts at checkout and you can get designer jeans for under $100. Mango is having 30% off purchases of $100 and more and I LOVE everything they have. Some Nordstrom picks too. Happy weekend!
