How I Wear Leggings To Feel My Best
- Quality: First things first! A good pair of leggings is the most important thing. I’m picky about my leggings and only have a few. Stay tuned for a full review on these I’m wearing.
- Mix different pieces: I look for more put together pieces to change the feeling of too casual. Even if I’m wearing them with a pullover or hoodie, I’ll reach for a tailored camel coat instead of a parka. Faux-fur jackets count too. Here, a button down and a nice sweater give a different feeling than a tee.
- Don’t be afraid of crop tops: I love the look of loose, cropped tops. They are great when you’re petite — and here’s the other thing, I disagree with the saying that “You should cover your bum when you’re wearing leggings.” Sometimes I cover it, others I don’t. The important thing for me is that I’m wearing high-quality leggings that are not see-through, and I feel good. So, cover your bum, don’t cover your bum. Do you!
- Mix different lengths: If you’re into covering your bum or just love the look of it, layer a longer top under. The only reason I’m wearing a longer top under is because I love the look. It’s also a great way to cover your bum and look taller when you’re petite.
Sweater – Thick and warm. Full honesty — I wouldn’t pay full price for it. It started piling really fast. I love the fit and color, and it makes me happy so I’ve kept it. But wanted you to know that. Just used the fabric shaver, and looks great again though.
Leggings – If you’re on the fence about these leggings, I’m working on a full review all about them. Run small, and I’m wearing S petite.
Boots – If you follow me on Instagram @julietatorresd, you know I have not stopped wearing these boots. Not even in Colombia. I waited for a year to get these boots, and I finally did. Love them, and they look great with everything. Worth the money, for sure. Available in black, too.
