I was browsing Social Threads the other day, and this camera bag caught my eye. Social Threads carries a whole line of bags with interchangeable straps, but there’s something so understated and cool about this one.
It is, I think, a pretty solid alternative for that fabulous Clare V midi sac bag I picked up in the Nordstrom Anni Sale this year.
Gimme All The French Girl Vibes
This classic French-girl combo is still one of my very favorites: slouchy black turtleneck, denim, flats, cool bag, done. New for 2020? Make the denim high-rise, and tuck in that slouchy turtleneck.
Also new for 2020? The face mask, of course.
French Girl Street Style: Outfit Details
sweater: Love Stitch Shirred Turtleneck Sweater (small, c/o Social Threads) – This turtleneck is a new fav. It has a banded, shirred bottom, yet can easily be worn tucked or un-tucked. It’s super soft and drapey — especially over the shoulders — and the neck isn’t overwhelming. I’m literally swooning over the flattering, feminine cut. This piece is shockingly good, especially considering the price (under $100).
shorts: Free People CRVY High Rise Cut Offs (26, c/o Social Threads) – These shorts are genius because they have the look of super-short, cut-offs…but actually have a few extra inches on that inseam. The high-rise just makes your legs look miles long.
flats: Born Boca Flats – I picked these flats up last month (NSale) and have been so happy with this purchase. Love the pattern, and they are insanely comfy and walkable.
bag: Vegan Leather Camera Bag & Leopard Bag Strap (c/o Social Threads) – I love the shape and size of this bag — it’s almost like wearing nothing. It’s perfect for running out for a quick errand (and could easily double as a date night bag…someday).
mask: Athleta Masks – If you haven’t yet tried the Athleta masks, these are the ones my entire family fights over. They’re the most comfortable & breathable masks I’ve found…and can be adjusted to fit face sizes from Pax (my 9-year-old) to Mike (hubs).
