ABLE is a company that we can totally get behind here at TME. From their response to the Coronavirus Pandemic to their dedication to transparency (they’ve even published all of their wages from all over the world), THIS is a company we feel good about supporting. I first discovered them when I was searching for sustainable denim and loved their business philosophy:
“ABLE is an ethical fashion brand that employs and empowers women as a solution to end poverty. We’re deeply devoted to quality – both in the products we make and the quality of life we aim to provide. We invest in, train, and educate women so they can earn a living, break the cycle of poverty, and thrive.”
Denim & Leather: ABLE Has Your Next Outfit-Making Jacket
Not only we do love ABLE’s ethics, I’ve been totally obsessed with their jackets. Let’s get down to business and look at three of my favorites — yup, denim and moto — for fall.
1. Maha Leather Jacket
I ordered denim jackets from ABLE (see below,) and they were immediate favorites that quickly became staples in my closet. So I decided to try their leather jacket for fall and wasn’t surprised when that became a favorite as well. It’s just such a classic that doesn’t have too many extra details-–just a clean, soft leather jacket that can go with everything. It’s the perfect mid-range moto jacket. Made from soft 100% lamb leather, you can tell it’s a high-quality jacket the second you feel it.

Leather Jacket Outfit Details
jacket: Maha Leather Jacket – So aside from the fact that this jacket is timeless and classic, ABLE also guarantees their leather products for one year. “If your ABLE leather item experiences a manufacturing defect, we will gladly repair or replace it up to one year after purchase.”
sweater: This is an old cashmere sweater, but J. Crew’s Cashmere Crewneck is almost identical and comes in a ton of color options.
jeans: J. Crew Curvy Toothpick jeans – These come in classic, petite and tall sizes, and are amazing. I love the way they fit with no gapping at the waist.
sneakers: Vans Classic Slip-Ons – I got these after I saw my niece wearing them with everything . . . they take about a day to break-in and then are crazy comfortable. Love. (Also at Nordstrom)
jewelry: Mini Tag Necklace – I got this necklace for Mother’s Day, and I LOVE it. It’s dainty and sparkly, and has four different holes for the clasp so you can wear it at multiple lengths. I have one initial tag for my husband and two kids, and love the way they hang together.
Galaxy Earrings – I love hoop earrings and these give that kind of vibe, but are a little more unique. They’re comfortable and lightweight and casual enough for everyday outfits, but fancy enough for dressier occasions. I love the texture on them. (Both the necklace and earrings are crafted by hand in Nashville…and available in silver or gold.)
Victoria Emerson Bracelets – These boho cuffs are my favorite bracelets and I never thought to stack them before, but I like it!
sunglasses: Warby Parker Harris Sunglasses – Warby Parker is my go-to for glasses because they’re more affordable, and they give a pair to someone in need for every pair purchased.
2. The Merly Denim Jacket
This is the perfect denim jacket that goes with everything. Slightly distressed and slightly oversized (but not sloppy) I love this layering jacket. Roll the sleeves or keep them long, wear it normally or drape it over your shoulders, this one is such a good staple to have in your closet.

3. The Naibi Cropped Denim Jacket
A cropped silhouette is perfect for high-waisted pants or skirts because it shows off the waistline a bit more. I sized down to an xs to keep the fit closer to the body and love the way it looks with tighter dresses.
