Scotti’s Top Sale Picks
We spent some time up at camp this past week, one of my very favorite places to be in August. I love sitting on the dock with a glass of wine in hand, listening to the kids laughing and playing in the water (er, when they’re not fighting, that is), watching the sky, and soaking up the last little bits of summer. We went on boat rides, roasted marshmallows for s’mores, and generally enjoyed some downtime. The only things missing were Mom and Shana & fam…they’re in France. Without me. Whatever. It’s fine. I’m fine.
In other news, Athleta’s Nighttime Bliss collection is on sale, and because they’re made from TENCEL Modal/Spandex jersey, they’re SO soft and ridiculously comfortable. I love that you can mix and match the pieces… I want them ALL. Oh, and also…I just bought matching pajamas for the family. I literally can’t help myself. (In my defense, they’re 50% off!)

Hey, Friday! Whew, it’s been a HOT one here in Portland, but we’re back to normal temps, and my plan this weekend is just to get my babe ready for her first sleepaway camp next week! Gah. Time, you truly are a thief. She’s gonna enjoy it soooo much, though, my little social butterfly. She’s going with a group of pals from school too, so she’ll be golden. But me, idk. I’m gonna for sure enjoy the quiet, but even as much as she has tested every boundary she could with me this summer, that mama bear thing is strong, and I’ll totally miss her so much.

ONE: Both my beloved Botkier bag and fave Autry sneakers are part of Saks’ Buy More, Get More deal! I’ve been wearing both constantly this summer. I love the structure and style of the bag, and it’s beautifully made — one of my top bag purchases in a long time. And the sneakers are not only comfy but also a great pop of color for my neutral closet favorites. Love their retro vibe.
TWO: J.Crew has a lovely dupe of my long-sold-out green striped Gap shirt. This pop of fun (but in a classic way) has been great all spring and summer. J.Crew’s is also in a beautiful poplin fabric.

Hi, hi, beautiful people! I’m in the thick of ordering, as Laura mentioned in our team Slack, “orthopedic yet slightly slutty” shoes for my upcoming trip to Asia. And let me tell you all, it’s definitely been a journey. The best brand I’ve stumbled across thus far is André Assous, and the squishy, ortho-like footbed paired with more trendy designs is it for me! I’m still working on figuring out the right sizing for my feet, but I’m 100% positive that a pair of these will be coming with me. If you’re in the market for this particular category of shoe as well, then now’s the time to snag a pair because there are so many options on sale right now.
ONE: The sale I’m most excited about this week is hands-down Reformation. I’ve been obsessed with the brand forever, and was so excited when I saw so many of my absolute favorites included in the sale. Numero uno for me is the gorgeous linen dress that I was so skeptical to try. But, gahhhh, it’s seriously so good. TWO: I’ve been alllllll about maxi skirts this season, and I can honestly say they’re some of my most-worn items in my closet right now. I’ve gotta start with a little hometown love: I’m a few weeks post-visit to a cosmetic dermatologist where I got a tiny bit of strategic filler in my face, and I’m so stinkin’ happy with the results. Shout out to Lilly Dermatology in Marquette, MI — if you’re local or anywhere around the Upper Peninsula, I can’t recommend Dr. Mercy enough for any/all cosmetic procedures.
Now to sales and fashion and fashion sales (ha). I’ve still got one foot in summer and am not ready to hang up my shorts just yet, so I’m eyeing up a little of everything this weekend. Vuori has easily my favorite sale section overall (it’s ridiculously good), but if I’m narrowing it down to just one pick…it’s actually these perfectly fall-ready pants.
ONE: Vuori just threw a bunch of pieces in my favorite, most-worn color, Pool Blue, in its sale section. While I’m currently obsessed with these new barely there leggings, there are also THESE leggings that were made for lifting and shaping — and are currently fully stocked + on sale — and my bum has probably never looked so good. Grab a matching strappy bra or this square-neck bra or this ribbed tank ALL on sale in the same color. But then, there’s the Daily Leggings in a spiced orange shade that would be perfect for fall… The entire sale section is wild, guys. RUNNNN.
TWO: This dress has been the best for summer: It’s so soft and extremely lightweight — as if I’m wearing nothing. It runs a little big (the straps are a bit loose), but I don’t want to size down so as not to lose length, and the straps aren’t a deal-breaker for me. I think it’ll be great going into fall worn with boots and a jacket like I’m in above…aaaand there’s also a stunning blue color I’m having a hard time resisting.

Em’s Top Sale Picks
Hey, all — what a week! The big kiddo started school this week, and we’re hosting an amity — a student teacher from Spain — in our home for the first semester, so we’re just getting her settled. She’s exceptionally lovely (the girls already adore her), and I can tell it’s going to be a special experience for everyone in our family. We’re so eager to show off our beautiful coastline and all that California has to offer. Hopefully she feels the same!
Fun finds this week: these body poufs put all others to shame; very into the shape of this interesting dress (plus sizes available); and I’ve finally got these grapefruit pocket leggings in my cart. They’re just so punchy for the end of summer.
Saks is having a “gift card with purchase” event, so now would be a great time to snap up my new surprisingly special white tee, or these featherweight jeans that are absolutely amazing but admittedly a bit of a splurge. (I’ve got a whole post on both items plus a few other elevated essentials.) Wearing a small in the T-shirt and my usual 25 in the jeans (I hacked the already raw hem to my perfect floor skimming length).

Hola from a little corner in the Andes of Colombia! We left Bogotá and have spent the past few days in the campo (countryside). Even though I was born and raised in the city, I can’t handle more than a few days in any city, so I take advantage of every opportunity I get to be in nature. If we aren’t yet IG friends, I’ve been sharing delicious fruits, moments with my paternal abuelita, mountains, sunsets, and my kids enjoying all the food. So come along to see a bit of where I come from.
ONE: Free People Lakeside Dress (S) – I’m definitely getting this dress in black. I already own and love the coral version, and the black will be perfect for fall. This dress feels so comfortable while being super sexy. I wear nipple covers, but a low-back bra can work.
TWO: Cinq a Sept Denim Pants (2) – They were perfect to wear while strolling all over Italy in June, and I can’t wait to rock them with cozy sweaters, sneakers and boots. Yes, they’re a bit of an investment, but trust me — they’re one of a kind and worth every penny. How about a post with some styling ideas?

Happy Friday, everyone! It seems like summer is starting to wind down, and the kiddos are all headed back to school. Even being the big “Summer Lover” that I am, I admit I’m finding myself looking forward to cooler temps and all autumn vibes. I stopped by a friend’s house this week, and she’s already decorating for Halloween, which surprisingly got me all excited. Me, I’m more of a last-minute Buy A Costco Bag Of Candy And Hope For The Best kinda gal, but I love to see it! Also, I’ve heard that if you close your eyes and whisper “Pumpkin-Spice Latte” three times fast, it will make fall come quicker. 😉
As for sales this week, I’ve got my eye on Bloomingdale’s where so many fall-inspired styles and more are on sale for up to 25% off (25% off for cardmembers and 20% off for everyone else). Just look for the Promotion Eligible tag!
ONE: Tie-Front Wrap Dress – I can’t believe how great this dress from Target turned out. The quality is so much better than I expected, and it fits like a dream. Like all of the women’s apparel at Target today, it’s 30% off with Target Circle (which is free to sign up).
TWO: AG Jeans Denim Maxi Skirt – I finally found “the” denim skirt I want for fall. Luckily, now is the perfect time to buy this gorg skirt at Bloomingdale’s, where cardholders take 25% off and everyone else takes 20% off all items that are marked “Promotion Eligible.”

Am I sad that the end of summer is nigh? Not really! I love a cozy autumn moment. I’m already scheming about how to decorate for Halloween and which weekend I can get my husband to go apple picking with me. If you’re a fellow fall girly, I see you. If you’re a summer-season kinda lady, I get it, and condolences.
However, the silver lining to the end of summer is the excellent end-of-season sales. I’m beyond excited to see that two of my favorite pieces from J.Crew are now on sale (pictured below). I’m also excited to shop the Cotopaxi sale and pick up the perfect puffer for cooler weather. I also picked up Gap’s denim vest that I think is going to look look amazing styled with fall pieces. Last but not least, I’ve been eyeing this lavender purse, which is so cute from Anthropologie.
ONE: This super-soft Irish linen dress is such a chic and simple summer staple. I reviewed it in my roundup of linen dresses, and it was one of my top picks. I’m wearing a size large.
TWO: Guys, I’ve kept my eyes peeled for you, waiting for the Icon Trench to go on sale, and the moment is finally here. This classic trench is usually excluded from discounts, so if you’ve had your eyes on this, now is the moment. Mohini’s Top Sale Picks
We’re back home! Sam, Anand and I spent almost a week in Oregon visiting family and friends. It was fun grazing through a few of Bend’s boutiques. After a few days in Bend, we headed to Portland. Our trip to Portland was short, I definitely want to thrift for vintage next time.
ONE: My Madewell Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Crop jeans are on sale in the wash I’m wearing here, Ward Wash. They’ve been my go-to jeans postpartum. The crop jeans are super-high-waisted and offer plenty of security.
TWO: My top packing hack? I only packed one pair of shoes for my trip to Bend. These platform sneakers pairs well with both dresses and athleisure. As someone who usually takes three to four pairs of shoes with her on any trip, packing just one pair was an accomplishment. Next time, I’ll probably pack a pair of sandals too.
