Happy Friday! Sales are ramping up this week, and we’re not mad about it. We’re talking really good outerwear, like Laura’s favorite J.Crew Icon trench (30% off with code: FRIENDS, plus an extra 10% off if you’re a member!). It’s got all of the classic trench coat details we love (belted sleeves, a storm flap, detachable hood) to add a little polish to a fall look.

Coats & Jackets, Loungewear, Fall Boots & More Editor Picks On Sale

If puffers are more your vibe, S recently featured this jacket from Athleta; it’s got a gorgeous, subtle shimmer in person (Athleta Icons & Enthusiast members can scoop it up for 20% off with code: SHOPFIRST). Check out Abercrombie’s 30% off Outerwear Event, too — these mini puffers get all the compliments (their long puffers are on sale, too). And if your goal with layering is to be as cozy as possible, Laura’s sweater-cape from Aerie (under $50) is serving blanket, and Amy’s eyeing up this plush jacket at Nordstrom.

More top picks on sale, below. Happy scrolling!

Psssst…If you missed it, Holiday Central just dropped today! It’s our hub for gift ideas, cute outfit inspo & the best sales of the season. Check it out when you finish up here!

Hey, hey Friday! I’m still riding the Lizzo high from last night’s show. OMG. Do not miss that phenomenal human if she is coming anywhere near you. I swear if the whole world could go to Lizzo church once a week…we’d all be better off. I took Sienna and could not be happier that she witnessed such a message of love and acceptance and got all that good energy and endorphins from a room full of lovely singing human beings. SO GOOD.

It’s back to reality with work and flu shots on the books for today haha. Oh but some kind of Meet + Cheese Festival Pinky got us invited to tomorrow, so that sounds amazing! (And yes, MEET + Cheese…so cute.)

Thank God THE Best Hoodie Is Restocked! Put this at the top of your wishlist or better yet snap it up while it’s still in stock…the Zip Cloud Hoodie. I’ve been quiet on this baby because I didn’t want to rub it in that I had one when it was all out of stock. TTS for the coziest hoodie ever. Woman-designed and the perfect shape and fit. I have the Sand color in a S/M and LOVE it. I’ll pop a pic over in my Instagram stories today.

Shana Was Right This Free People Packable Puffer scarf poncho thing is so good. I got it in the Muted Beige last week and it’s just the perfect top layer over a hoodie or workout wear. It’d be cute over any fitted jacket, too, to add that cool girl layered sporty look.

I Tried These On A Whim In Store This Week…and immediately came home with them. I got a little too excited and bought too big of a size (probably because of the hating waistbands thing I was talking about recently) but gahhh. These pants are so cool and so good. They work for everyday but I’m totally going to dress them up for the holidays, too. I got a 28 and they are insanely comfy and stretchy at the waist…but they are quite baggy so I am trying the 27 which I think will be better on my shorter frame. They come in some rad colors, but I got the wine and it’s a gorgeous dark red/berry shade.

Have a good weekend y’all. xoxo

Greenlea is in the play Madagascar, Jr. this weekend and it’s so fun to watch her on stage—but to say this week has been busy would be putting it mildly! I had a great time in Chicago last weekend and it was a ton of fun to go shopping with one of my best friends (since high school!). She helped me pick out a bunch of fun outfits from J. Crew (post coming soon!), and this skirt was one of our favorite pieces. I also picked up this necklace from Free People that instantly turns any outfit into a date night look. LOVE it.

OMG THIS COAT – I tried this one on in store and LOVED it…but didn’t love the price. It’s now 30% off (along with the rest of Alo Yoga site-wide) and I’m SO excited about it! (Free shipping and free returns, too!)

LOVE these Boots – I bought these boots at full price ($250) and they’re awesome. They’re now on sale for $174 – super comfy and walkable too!

The Only Tights You’ll Ever Need – Sheertex tights are no joke. They’re rip-resistant (to the point where they send some material for you to attempt to rip) and seriously comfortable. AND there are a bunch of them on sale for $35 right now (down from $69-$99)…while supplies last!

Happy Friday beautiful people! This week I had such a proud big sister moment, because my baby brother voted for the first time! He called me a few weeks ago to ask about the process and on election day sent out ecstatic texts to our group family chat about his excitement for finally getting to vote. Gen Z seriously turned out this year, especially for a year that wasn’t a primary election, and it makes me feel a little more hopeful for the future of our country.

My Favorite Icon – GabiFresh is one of my all time favorite iconic plus size babes and she recently released a new collection with Fashion To Figure. The collection is beautifully designed and I want every single piece. Oh and ps. Everything is an extra 25% off right now!

To Dyson or Not to Dyson – It’s been over five years since I have straightened my hair, and now that Nordstrom carries all of Dyson’s airwrap, straighteners and blow dryers, I am so tempted to purchase everything and see how they work for my ultra curly hair.

Winter Ready – It’s currently snowing as I write this, and am crushing on this puffer coat that is on sale and so pretty! And if you are in the market for winter wear, then Abercrombie has you covered with an entire winter coat sale!

Holiday spirit is in FULL SWING, people – I’m feeling more festive than ever!

I scooped up the most adorable (and delicious-smelling) candles that double as Christmas decor (here’s larger wooden versions, too!!) and am low-key in love. I also just booked tickets to a spectacular light show that’s coming to our area for the night before Thanksgiving, and am giddily googling for more activities in our new city (apparently ice skating next to the ocean is a thing… but I’m not sure I can wrap my head around that just yet). If you live in San Diego and have a favorite holiday activity, slide into my DM’s (ha) and tell me all the details!

But now, glorious SALES –

Best Of Sale: Found one of my top favorite jeans of the entire YEAR on sale – but sizes are going fast (I wear my true size).

Still One Of The Greatest Bras Ever: And a bunch of styles are being featured for a holiday sale.

Jackets 50% OFF: If I still lived in Michigan, there’s no doubt that I’d snap up this puffer for winter in “cozy brown.”

With That Said: Gap’s entire “up to 50% off” section is epic. It’s filled with cozy outerwear and party-ready pants, and I want it ALL.

Julieta’s Sale Picks

I finally had an appointment with a Neuropsychologist for my ADHD this week, and I’m hopeful. Also, after annoying allergy tests, I had two options: wrap myself in bubble wrap cause I’m a “very.allergic.person”, in my doctor’s words, or start shots. So, shots it is. It feels good to finally take charge of parts of my life I’d ignored forever because looking for doctors and calling to make appointments is the worst for my brain.

Best nude heels – I had a 40th Birthday party this weekend and wore these Naturalizer nude pumps and WOW. I was surprised at how comfortable they were. I danced cumbia, salsa, reggaeton and while my friends were changing into flats, I was good with my heels.

These flared leggings changed my life – I never thought I’d love flared leggings so much again but Athleta did its job and now it’s all I want to wear. Use: SHOPFIRST for 30% off

Ecru flared jeans – The flare silhouette is my favorite right now, so of course now I want a winter white pair of flared jeans and these Rag and Bone do not disappoint .

Em’s Sale Picks

Friends! It’s Friday, I’m alive and both girls are *knock on some serious wood here* healthy as far as I can tell. The past few weeks have been a freaking DOOZY. Some version of the flu, a sinus infection, double pink eye and COVID. And that’s just me. Every member of our family was at urgent care at some point or other – sometimes more than once. And since we disclosed Lana’s COVID to the school (because, um, isn’t that what you’re supposed to do?) we had to follow the district’s protocol to keep her home from school for 10 days, so on top of being sick, I was a whole new level of cranky. It was a special few weeks, pals. So glad to finally feel like we’re coming out the other side of things.

Which brings me to: sales! I’ve hardly cracked my laptop for the past three weeks, so browsing sales for a few minutes this morning felt like a straight up vacation for my brain. Lotsa festive stuff to get excited about out there. Here’s what I’m digging:

Final Sale? I’m Not Scared. Anthro’s got additional 30% off sale, and since it’s final sale, I always start in the home section, which feels less risky. It’s the perfect destination for gift-giving, especially. Eyeing up this bath mat for the girls’ bathroom and this brushed sunset throw as a gift for our good friends down the street. Ok, and this lace button-down feels very similar to a Betsy Johnson number I had in 2001 and would be an easy enough one to get right in terms of sizing (sounds like sizing up is the way to go). I’d pair it with distressed 501s, black boots and some messy waves.

Extra 25% Off Clearance at Nordstrom! I had a do a double take to make sure I was on the Nordstrom site and not the Nordstrom Rack site this morning, because this doesn’t happen very often. Lotsa gems to be found here if you’re willing to filter a little. These burgundy flare leggings, down to $31, feel very Julieta (here’s hoping she’d approve the color for me, too!). And I can’t imagine a more festive holiday heel. These are the kinda shoes I would plan an entire outing around. The black feels classic, but the burgundy or brass colors are both so stinking pretty.

Wait, Am I A Sequin Person Now? Speaking of Nordstrom Rack, their selection of holiday-ready apparel is so freaking good. I usually shy away from too much razzle dazzle, but this sparkly dress (I can’t tell if it’s giving me peacock or sequined wallpaper vibes?) has me so smitten, and the casual style of this sequined bomber jacket would make it easy to reach for all season long. The price points for both are great, too, so I feel ok having a little more fun with picks that aren’t my usual aesthetic.
