Happy Friday, everyone! I’ve been feeling stuck on what to wear this summer, and Linzi’s Veronica Beard cotton tee (on sale at Saks) is the answer: just add stripes. Effortlessly stylish, cheerful, and the sleeve trim detailing and pretty color combo is so good.
#NSale Faves + Top Editor Sale Picks At Saks, Anthro, Madewell & More
Hold the phone…these straight-leg jeans are on sale at Gap for $14!! They’re giving ’90s vibes in a faded black wash — perfect for summer. Scotti found this breezy maxi dress (another super-sale find under $25)! Great as a cover-up during these warmer months, then layered up for fall. I can’t get over these Zella wide-leg pants, either (with white sneaks or strappy sandals).
ICYMI…it’s been a whirlwind of excitement covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this week (whoo, it’s live!). Sign up for our newsletter here to keep up with all the good stuff, or stop by our handy #NSale Cheat Sheet to quickly access our editors’ try-ons and top picks in the sale.

Linzi’s Sale Picks
Well…there has definitely been a LOT of talk about one particular sale in The Mom Edit world this week, but this morning I’m personally pretty excited about the Anthro and Saks sales that are going on as well! So many fun summer-to-fall transition pieces from them in my roundup!
The only striped tee I’m wearing right now: I am VERY picky about my stripes, so when I find a good one, I want to wear it every day (especially with Veronica Beard to make it worth the $). I’ve been stalking this one too for fall, and it’s finally on sale!
A “$100-ish” Veronica Beard Denim Alternative: I’ve been talking a lot about these Veronica Beard wide-leg jeans, but these more budget-friendly wide legs have a similar shape and vibe, plus a better size range as well.
A “$100-ish” MOTHER Denim Alternative: These flares on sale look VERY similar to these MOTHER raw hem flares, but they have a more wearable wash and are more budget-friendly, plus they have standard, petite, tall and plus-size range! Yay for all of that!
The under $50 Ponte top that looks good under EVERYTHING…and looks pretty fantastic on its own as well! Selfies coming soon.

Hey, Friday. Whew! What a week. I rarely get this exhausted–I’m a gal who likes to go and do all the things and has all the FOMO–but gosh. I am spent! Haha. Hellloooo weekend. So we’ve established there are some serious finds in my NSale try-on post here, yes yes, BUT I’m freaking excited about the AllSaints pieces that are in the regular sale section right now at Nordstrom! Score. Here are some more great sale finds from some of our other favorite retailers:
Living For That Pop Of Color: GOSH. This bright red quilted crossbody bag by AllSaints is so freaking cool. And I’ve linked the larger size below, too. For this black-and-neutrals-loving gal, a red bag just makes so many of my outfits sing.
UH, These Jeans are $14: I haven’t found any jeans I’m over the moon about in the NSale yet, so I was stoked to see these great black-washed jeans at GAP are somehow $14 bucks right now! Idk. We better hurry before they realize. Use code QUICK at checkout.
Solving Fridge Probs: Finally ordered a single one of these for my new fridge so our larger bottles of oatmilk, juice or rosé will fit and not roll around. Our old fridge sucked, but it did have a better option in this regard. I also got a larger set for basement wine storage. Would be great for storage or backstock for a variety of things! Byeee wobbly wooden wine rack that makes me have a mini-heart attack every time I restock.
Hope everyone is able to take a minute to recharge a bit this weekend like I plan to. Thanks for the continued support of us here in what we do, friends. We really love being able to provide what we hope is helpful info around these sale times! xoxo
Scotti’s Sale Picks
My mom and I just got home from a whirlwind overnight trip to Milwaukee so we could shop the NSale in person (the closest store is five hours away, and I highly recommend the Mayfair location if you’re ever in that area)! We had so much fun–Walli, our stylist, was beyond helpful. I am now the proud owner of a pair of Air Force 1 sneakers…who even am I? But he also talked me into these strappy sandals that I’ve been eyeing for FOREVER. They go with everything and the heel isn’t crazy high. (And now I want all the colors.) Neither of those are in the sale, but they’re 100% worth it…and now, sales:
Sexy, comfy sandals: 40% off these strappy sandals that go with everything and have a 1.25” heel so you can walk all day in them. (I love the light brown and black, but that kiwi color is calling my name!)
*Ok, these aren’t on sale, but I had to include them because they’re ridiculous, and of course, I want them.

I don’t know about you all, but I am beyond excited for the weekend! I have no real plans, but my bestie is here, and let’s just say it’s been a much needed break from the real world for me. We have spent the last week rewatching all of the Twilight episodes on Amazon, and since the series was admittedly pretty cringe-worthy, we both had never watched the last movie…and OH MY GAWDDDD it’s actually so good! Nothing like a little vampire saga to help us escape for a few hours. Sending you all good vibes for the weekend!
OBSESSED is an Understatement: The Proenza Schouler White Label bag that I had my eye on in the #NSale finally arrived to my casa, and OMG it’s literally the BEST bag to ever enter the sale. I am obsessed! It’s ultra-oversized and is going to be perfect for travel. The detailing, the quality and the overall aesthetic is everything!
A Little ’70s Moment: If you are a label-loving babe like me, then you need to know that Nordstrom has a huge selection of amazing designer pieces that are up to 60% off. I bought these Chloe mules (currently 55% off) a few days ago, and I can affirm they will be my most-worn shoes of the fall! LOVEEEEE the nod to the ’70s, and they are so comfortable for all day wear.

Hey, friends! This sales roundup is kinda fun because a lot of my tried-and-true summer favorites are currently getting marked down — including AGOLDE ’90s straight leg jeans in an AMAZING wash (I wear my true size in these). If you’re a fan of all the #NSale content, mine is coming SO SOON… but as a little secret, I found the All Saints Cotton Hoodie Dress (featured in the sale) in two different colors in the regular sale section, soooo…heyoohhh!
Other really good sales to take note of…
My Fave Workout Short: I like this print far better than the one in the Nordstrom Sale, and it’s even 50% off!
Tried & True Black Wash Denim: These were actually in last year’s Anniversary Sale and sold out on the first day! I still have & love them, TTS.
The Most Flattering Leggings: I know this color is a huge risk (I pair w/ a white tee and sneakers), but I promise you the waistband is everything…EVERYTHING. Tts.
And below are the rest of my top picks! -Amy
Julieta’s Sale Picks
Less than two weeks!….We’re flying to Colombia in less than two weeks, and I have packed nothing…nada. The Anniversary Sale craziness (did you see my #NSale baby?) is taking over all my time; however there are other sales I’m excited about:
Gimme all the dresses – Saks’ Dress Sale Selection is so good. This Farm Rio white dress is more subtle than their usual, but gorgeous. And I’d totally get this Xirena puff sleeve minidress if pink was a good color for me. I own and love this under $100 draped dress.
Elevated staple – If you want sandals with a great footbed but also an elevated style, these Vince Sandals (40% off) can be it. I’m anxiously awaiting their arrival.
Em’s Sale Picks
Well hi, gang. I’m sitting out the dressing room selfies this year. Not because I’m not shopping the #NSale (I am, but conservatively – in fact I linked up the few things I’m most definitely pulling the trigger on if they’re still stocked when my tier opens at midnight, below), but just because covering this sale full-on takes a whole heckuvalotta time and that’s something I seem to be coming up short on these days. But I gotta tell ya – it’s been too much fun reading everyone else’s posts this year and letting them influence me right from within the ol’ inner TME circle! (Thanks, friends!)
Also, if you’re anything like me, the NSale has this weird effect where, once I’ve committed to investing a bit of money into my closet, it suddenly isn’t confined to the Anniversary Sale any longer. I find myself thinking “well if I was going to spend $200 on a sweater there, why not $150 on another sweater elsewhere? That I perhaps like…even a little more?” So while I’m not formally covering the NSale, I’ve definitely got The Shopping Bug. Here’s what it has me thinking:
Anthro’s got 25% off select fall new arrivals, which feels like NSale competition for sure. These low-rise skater jeans and this playful cashmere sweater are in my cart as we speak (both feel like a great price point considering how much I would wear them, too.)
Saks’ has up to 70% off Designer stuff at the moment. It’s a bit overwhelming to wade through, but if you sort by price range or designer, you can find some gems. I was impressed by the selection and stock of FRAME finds, in particular. (These jeans and this striped, knotted tee are in my cart. Nothing groundbreaking, but solid staples I know I’ll wear over and over again.)
And as for what I AM buying in the NSale – you can see everything on my Wish List here, but the guaranteed buys: internet-famous body oil, my longtime go-to blush, this belt bag (for under $18, it might be the best bang for my buck purchase all year), and this button-up. Real exciting times over here, I know.
Happy weekend! – Em
