Ok Gang – there’s only a little over a week left in the 2018 Anniversary Sale, and we’re starting to cull down, to figure out which pieces we’re actually keeping. As we go through this process, however, we’re running into the typical, ‘maybe I should try a bigger size/smaller size/different color/etc’ only to find that the piece is long sold out. Annoying. But….we’re also finding a few standout pieces that survived the initial buying frenzy….and they’re also the ones showing up on our ‘keep’ list.
So. If you’re sick of clicking through only to find sold-out links….this post is for you.

My Favorite Pieces Still In Stock
Basically, everything I’m loving (and keeping) that is also fully stocked I’ve already featured here: Top Five Outfits Still In Stock At The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So check that out if you haven’t yet already. But I have four more pieces I’d like to call attention to:
1. This Rag and Bone Tee
Rag and Bone makes the best freaking tees. I’ve been a longtime fan (they wash and dry well, too) and this one is particularly perfect for winter. Not only is the neckline a scoop that works for layering (which you can’t see in these pics…sorry ’bout that)….but there’s a cut-out detail in the back that elevates this tee beyond the basic.
2. These Topshop Flares
These were one of the biggest surprises of the sale. I’m obsessed with the higher rise and the fact that they come in different lengths. These are one of the only flare jeans that actually look cute with sneakers. Such a fun update for Fall.
3. Cute Flats – Do I Keep Them?
I first featured these Lewet flats in our giant article, Best Shoes and Boots At The 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I….can’t….quite….decide. My biggest issue? They also come in white. And I’m realllly tempted, but don’t have time to try the white on before I leave for Berlin. Thoughts?
4. Dolce Vita Boots – I Did Keep Them
The back zipper, while annoying at first, no longer rubs. They are, as others have noticed, a little tight near the toes, but the leather is so soft that I suspect that these will break in even more with time. I’ve been wearing the heck out of mine with shorts. (That sleeveless sweater is on major sale at Intermix, which is having a reallly good sale – you can see all of those picks here, if interested.)
Dolce Vita Tommi Perforated Bootie (Tan Nubuck)
Scotti’s Favorite In Stock Pieces
1. These Pajamas That The Entire TME Team LOVES
Gwen has them, Cams has borrowed them, and they’re basically the softest things ever. Let’s all take a second to appreciate Scotti’s pregnant cuteness in this set.
2. The Essential Pieces You Can Dress Up and Down
It’s Scotti! I’m all about a mix of style and comfort right now. I want clothes that I can actually wear shortly after the baby is born. This dress is stretchy and nursing-friendly . . . I’ll wear it over leggings when the weather gets colder. This (convertible) sweatshirt is crazy comfy and is nursing-friendly, too (especially when layered over the nursing tank that’s part of the sale). Here’s how I dress it down with leggings (love the interesting camo print) and UGGS or up with jeans and over-the-knee boots.
3. Black Shoes with an Edge
Scotti again. These are two of my favorite pairs of shoes from the sale . . . they didn’t come in with the rest of the stuff I ordered, but they were totally worth the wait. I love the stud details on both of them and the peep-toes were the pair I was most excited to try. They did not disappoint. The booties are super comfy with just a bit of a heel and can be worn with everything from jeans to leggings to dresses.
Top Row: Ankle Strap Peep Toe Pumps
Bottom Row: Studded Booties
Anniversary Sale is almost over and I’m heading to Bogotá in less than a week. That means I can actually put some mood into fall clothing. Have I told you how excited I am for colder weather? These are things I love for right now and/or later. Some of them are in my suitcase already, others I had to contain myself because when you’re a fashion blogger you don’t really need a lot of things, even if you love them.
Julieta’s Favorite In Stock Pieces
1. This Beautiful Wrap Top
This top was a nice surprise that I only discovered because I saw it at the store while looking for nursing friendly tops. Nordstrom tends to have some bad retailer pics and the one for this top doesn’t make it justice. You can catch a try-on on my Instagram stories before they expire (@theunbosom). Wearing with shorts right now, but packing them for Colombia to wear under a leather jacket and high-rise jeans.
2. These Sam Edelman Flats
“I only got these shoes because I saw them on you” Three women said to me at Nordstrom when I was trying them on. I actually saw them paying for them. That day I was wearing a bodysuit, with shorts and they all loved how the outfit looked. These are right now in my suitcase…I might even wear them at the airport because they are COMFY. I know white shoes are not for everybody, but no worry! They come in black too and are so chic!
Shoes (I went half-size down)
3. This Madewell Button-Down and Kenneth Cole Coat
So this button down is not flannel, the fabric is actually lightweight cotton. I love the fall colors and how looks under the coat. You can size down if you don’t like oversized.
I love a good camel coat and I absolutely loved this Kenneth Cole one. I need to let you know that it has raw edges. I honestly love it, I think it gives it a cool and modern vibe, but some may not like it. Some reviews say it’s itchy, which I honestly don’t know cause I wear it over long-sleeved things and didn’t feel anything.
Jess’ Favorite In Stock Pieces
This is not just my ‘Best Of What’s Left’ outfit, it’s my new favorite outfit PERIOD. The sweater, jeans, and boots easily some of the best purchases I’ve made all this year! The sweater is the epitome of my ideal casual knitwear (don’t let the 3 star review fool you). If you like cozy pullovers, you’ll love it. It’s beyond soft, and I love the drape-y, slightly oversized fit. Plus it’s just a little bit different from most grey sweaters you see. The Good American jeans really need no introduction- they’re one of the best selling pair of the sale (and still being restocked). And the Sarto booties feel like butter and fit like a dream.
Laura’s Favorite In Stock Pieces
Laura here. So, I’m loving and keeping all of these pieces. They’re so good. The stripe color in the blouse is sold out, but the pale taupe is available and a pretty blue and both are gorgeous. The drape of this is so cool. It is fairly low cut but I’ll add a little hook and eye. The blazer is a little long, but perfectly ‘boyfriend’ look and glen plaid is SO big this fall. I’ll wear with a bright tee under in like a yellow or bright red. Both of these jeans are amazing and the pair on the right is under $50! These heels are so comfy for their higher height and will be perfect for dressing up jeans. These high tops are so rad and definitely a great knock off of the higher end sneakers. Love that these are all still around as they’re seriously some of my sale favs.
Tiarra’s Favorite In Stock Pieces
Hey, lovelies! It’s Tiarra. We’re in the home stretch of the anniversary sale, and I’ve still got your wardrobe covered with a ton of in-stock items for whatever the week throws at ya. Athleisure, rock mom, Fancy Nancy, and work…it’s all right here. It wasn’t easy narrowing down to these four looks (11 pieces!), but they’re really my favs, so I hope you love them, too! Be sure to follow me on Liketoknow.it for the entire capsule wardrobe, or find it here!
May the inventory odds be ever in your favor!
