I love a good dance class and am alllll about shakin’ my bum bum! Since I’m such a regular at my dance and hip hop classes, I felt like it was time to kick it up a notch and add some light arm weights into the mix. But let’s be real, arm weights aren’t cute, and it took me a really really long time to find a pair that I love.
Bala Bangles: Chic Leg & Ankle Weights
Enter Bala Bangles. They’re easily my new favorite workout accessory (and yes, they’re pretty enough to be called an ‘accessory’). These bangles are super-easy to put on, and cute, too. They’ve got a soft, velvety feel and come in these gorg colors:
The bangles basically look like bracelets and I love that they’re one-size-fits-all — just adjust the velcro until you find your perfect size.
You can also opt to strap them to your ankles to give your leg muscles an extra push. I bought my bangles several months ago and have been absolutely loving them — I was so surprised at how much one-pound weights make a difference in cardio classes!
