My top picks, for SURE, are the RevitaLash and RevitaBrow conditioners. I found the lash conditioner years ago when my lashes were sparse and broken from wearing lash extensions for too long. This stuff helped me grow them back (and then some). I tried the RevitaBrow after having so much success with the lash stuff, and it worked just as well to help regrow my over-plucked brows. These two WORK.

Tarte Cosmetics: Blush, Mascara & Bronzer
Tarte Cosmetics are cruelty-free, vegan, hypoallergenic, formulated without parabens or phthalates, and are really good. Their clay blush is my FAVORITE of all-time and comes in a bunch of flattering shades. Their Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara adds length and volume, and their Park Ave Princess Bronzer is matte, waterproof, and creates such a pretty sunlit glow.

Stila: Favorite Eye Makeup
Stila makes some amazing shadows and liners, and these are my two favorites. This liner STAYS. (Just like the name says.) It’s easier to apply than a lot of other liquid liners I’ve used and it comes in a bunch of colors. The Glitter + Glow shadows are my favorite–a little goes a long way to create such a pretty shimmer on your eyes that won’t budge once it dries. There are SO many gorgeous colors to choose from, but I think Kitten Karma is probably my favorite. Such an easy eye look to create!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm & Cream
This cleansing balm is gentle but effective–it cleanses your skin without drying it out and is a super-relaxing way to wash your face (a cleansing cloth is included). And it’s not an understatement to say that this cream is the best-smelling lotion I’ve ever smelled. I want them to make a perfume out of it. BUT, the real reason you should try it is because it works. It’s formulated with the marine extract padina pavonica, which can reduce wrinkle depth by up to 78% while increasing hydration by up to 45%. Simply put, it helps to create a younger-looking complexion and makes your skin feel SO incredibly smooth.

Get an at-home microdermabrasion for less than the cost of one at the spa — and this one can be used over and over again. This hand-held device “acts as a vacuum, suctioning off dead, dull skin cells while gently exfoliating to smooth the surface of both your face and body…the interchangeable discs soften the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and large pores while smoothing the texture of your skin.” Your skincare products will also absorb better and quicker, getting you results faster. Word of caution, though: use the training discs to learn. I went too hard too fast and had a scrape on the side of my face because I didn’t take the time to learn how to do it. It healed fast. lol

Not only is it SO MUCH FUN to put on green lipstick (G loves it), but this moisturizing lipstick turns into the most beautiful shade of pink by adapting to your unique pH balance. I don’t know how it does this, but I have this one and LOVE the flush of pink color it produces.

Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo + Conditioner
I’ve been using this shampoo & conditioner for years because they really do make a difference to the point where I can absolutely tell when I haven’t used them. Formulated without harsh sulfates or silicones (or parabens or phthalates), these two deliver smoother hair from day one. I love Living Proof in general, especially the No Frizz line, and the styling creme and humidity shield are pretty much can’t-live-without items for me. I spray the humidity shield over my hair and it keeps it from curling and frizzing even when I sleep on it. (Sometimes I literally spray it on right before bed to prevent waking up with a nightmare of bushy hair.) I use the styling cream on roots to ends before I blow dry and it keeps the frizz at bay.

R+Co Deep Cleansers
R+Co CROWN Scalp Scrub – This is another favorite of Amber’s and it works especially well on guys’ hair — Zack loves it. This stuff helps with all kinds of scalp problems like clogged pores, excess oil, dandruff, and product buildup. This is formulated with salicylic acid and works to cleanse and rebalance sensitive and oily scalps.
R+Co Acid Wash ACV – I LOVE this stuff. The CROWN scrub is a bit too harsh for my colored, damaged hair, but this wash cleanses my hair without stripping it of oils and actually makes it softer. It smells AWFUL, but only while you’re actually using it–the apple cider vinegar gives your hair amazing shine and gets rid of all the gunk and buildup that gets all over your hair from styling products, etc. This is worth every penny.

R+Co Aircraft Pomade Mousse
My sister-in-law, Amber, exclusively sells R+Co at her salon, and this is her top product to recommend when styling. There’s nothing else like it on the market–it’s a pomade and a mousse so you can use it on wet or dry hair to for easy-to-style. I love using it before I blow-dry and heat style for more volume with hold and control but it’s also great for creating texture on second-day hair and helps to smooth waves and curls out.
Klorane Dry Shampoo
Klorane’s dry shampoo is so good and this is a limited-edition duo of their best-selling dry shampoo. I’ve used a TON of dry shampoos and this one is easily one of my top three. The scent is amazing, but still super-light and the formula gently rids your hair of oil without being overly harsh or drying (one part I hate about some dry shampoos). It also adds great texture without making your hair stiff.

OK, so I don’t own this hairdryer because I do love my Dyson, but at $400 it is expensive. This one is normally $250, on sale for $200, which is still crazy expensive, but much more doable if you’re desperate for a pro dryer. The reviews on this one are amazing saying that it cuts drying time and frizz. This one is lightweight, but an ultra lightweight version is also available which is less than a pound! Actually, I’m really intrigued by the entire Harry Josh line which is all part of the sale!

I have been reading about these Viviscal tablets for years. It seemed like every celebrity or model with gorgeous hair was taking them. I’m such a skeptic, though, I still haven’t tried them. Now that I’m getting older (and so is my hair–and the thinning that comes with age), it might be time to try. I just feel better when I have a tan, but I know first-hand the damage sun can cause, as my mom had melanoma. Self-tanners are obviously the healthier way to go, and I have heard nothing but amazing things about St. Tropez self-tanners. The classic formula is a cult favorite for non-streaky color and the newer Express formula is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner for the same result in less time. I personally have my eye on their Bronzing Water Face Mist that can be used over or under makeup as a primer or setting spray that develops into a subtle tan in 4-8 hours. I need to try that ASAP and report back…
