A few readers recently requested a review of BECCA swimwear, which has been a staple in our yearly swim guide (this year’s just launched!!). I realized that my personal experience with Becca was pretty limited — it’s inclusion has always been based on readers’ rave reviews (and Scotti’s — some of her fav one-pieces have been by BECCA), so it was high time I took a closer look.
The thing that stands out the most — after this giant try-on session — is that Becca suits are comfortable. Like….insanely well-made and soft on your skin. There were no itchy fabrics, nothing scratchy, no uncomfortable squeeeeezing of skin. They’re just…easy to wear, easy to move in, and kept all of my, um, bits and pieces (relatively) hidden.
Hidden, but without a hint of mumsy!!! These are suits that when worn look…sexy, even? (Or as sexy as a girl can get when trying on swimsuits in her very messy bedroom in MARCH for the internets, but we don’t judge things that like DO WE NO WE DO NOT.)
TOP PICK: The Lingerie-Inspired One
This one was my favorite and….Mike’s favorite, too? Obviously sunscreen reapplication will be a little challenging, but TOTALLY WORTH IT.
TOP PICK: This Pink Bikini
This was another favorite of both Mike and I. I love that the top stays put, and that the bottoms are totally adjustable. Such a sweet little bikini for summer — one that I’ll never mind wearing around kids.
TOP PICK: The One My Sister Has (And Loves)
Simple, chic, sexy and…comfortable. It’s easy to see why Scotti is a fan. LOVE the lower back, too.
The One Giving Me Serious 70’s Bond Vibes
Too often this style of suit doesn’t have a back tie…which means that it’s alllll too easy for the shoulder straps to fall down. Not this one! I felt so glamours/bad ass in this one.
Because Everyone Needs A Good String Bikini
After a trip to Spain….I realized that everyone — and I DO mean EVERYONE — looks good in a string bikini. Body type, age — none of it matters. Just tie one on. And this particular string bikini is one of the better made ones.

The One That Our Readers Loved Last Year
(It might be two years ago now?) But this boho babe suit was the original one that put Becca on my radar. The crochet is surprisingly comfortable, given that it’s everywhere, but this suit is not as comfortable as the lingerie-inspired ones. FWIW.
An Updated Crochet
Almost like a bikini…but not a bikini. I think I like this one better than Becca’s high neck crochet suit.
Gimme Gimme Baywatch Vibes
It’s probably just the color. BUT. This suit is pretty fabulous in any color. It’s another one that’s really fun to wear.

The One That is MUCH Cuter In Person
This is the cutest, flirtiest little suit…in person. For some reason, I couldn’t get it to photograph well. #dirtymirror #dirtyroom #lowlight #wheredoIstart
But whatevs — it’s GOOD.
The Really Pretty One-Piece, Part One
This ended up being one of my favorites. Just a really pretty, feminine suit with romantic vibes. Love it.
The Really Pretty One-Piece, Part Two (Comes in Plus Sizes, Too)
For those who need a bit more color….THIS. (And check out the plus size version — it’s more of a wrap…and I might even like it better?)
A Textured Little Bikini in a Fresh Spring Green
I LOVE textured swim right now. Like….really, really love it. And this textured fabric is soft, comfy, and so pretty.

The One Suit I Did Not Like
I can live with ‘sexy bond girl’. What I can’t live with, however, is an uncomfortable waist belt. Which this one has. So…no.
Has anyone else tried (and loved) Becca suits? If you have….SEND IN PICS. I promise to post-process them in soft light before we share them, haha. (But in all seriousness…sending in pics does help other Mamas out when trying to figure out what to purchase. We’d love the help – especially with swimsuits.)
BTW, when you’re done here, be sure to check out all the new bathing suits in our annually updated Swim Shop!
