You asked for more jumpsuits after I featured my new favorite (above), and now we’re delivering the mother of all jumpsuit roundups. Jumpsuits are absolutely everywhere this summer—an unending selection of cute styles—so the choices can be overwhelming. But don’t worry, we’ve covered all the bases and left no jumpsuit behind: all the best jumpsuits in every style and for every occasion under the sun—we’ve got it all. Our criteria was to find the most practical, functional, comfortable, and of course, stylish jumpsuits that you can feel at ease in, and wear over and over.
We also realize that a jumpsuit is only as good as the bra underneath it—so we divided and conquered our jumpsuit choices by four categories: everyday bra, racerback bra, lacy bralette, and strapless, as well as jumpsuits to wear over swimwear, and jumpsuits to lounge around the house in. To make things easier for our mobile users, the collages are clickable. Instead of having to scroll down and back up, all you have to do is click on any jumpsuit image to be taken to the direct link.
Here We Go! Our Favorite Jumpsuits & the Bras That Match
Jumpsuits to Wear with Regular Bras
Everyday jumpsuits that are ready for anything the day throws at you. They’re easy to wear, comfortable to move in and look good dressed up or down. An essential to every wardrobe. A jumpsuit newbie? Start here.
Jumpsuits to Wear with Racerback Bras
Racerback bras work best with halter neck and neck-tied jumpsuits. Lace-backed racer bras like this and this are perfect for these types of jumpsuits, especially ones with open backs.
Jumpsuits to Wear with Lacy Bralettes
A little hint of a lace bralette showing adds just the right amount of femininity to an otherwise simple jumpsuit. Drape-y wrap front and surplice jumpsuits are perfect for wearing with lace bralettes like this one and this one.
Jumpsuits to Wear with Strapless Bras
A lot of summer jumpsuits are strapless or open and off-the-shoulder, and require a strapless bra, which makes them seem like more work than needed. BUT all you need is a really good, supportive strapless bra (like this one, this one, this one AND this one), and you’ll be wondering why you didn’t do it sooner.
Jumpsuits for Lounging (Bras Optional)
The coziest, softest jumpsuits are perfect for sleeping in and for lounging around the house—with or without a bra. They can also work as casual daywear with a pair of sneaks. Whether it’s movie night, Saturday morning pancakes, or an all-day family road trip, these jumpsuits always feel like your pajamas.
Swimsuit Cover-Up Jumpsuits
Jumpsuits make great swimsuit cover-ups especially on those days you live in your swimsuit—like while at the beach. A good jumpsuit is always at the top of my packing list for any warm-weather location. They’re a triple threat on vacay because not only can they can be worn to the pool over your swimsuit, but also with a pair of sneakers on daytime excursions, as well as to dinner with wedge espadrilles and a pair of colorful statement earrings.
L to R: 1. Coolchange’s Brooke Jumpsuit Swimsuit Coverup: Love the boho vibe of this easy on, easy off jumpsuit. 2. Mara Hoffman’s Carly Jumpsuit: No one does cool swimwear and cover-ups like Mara Hoffman. 3. TAVIK Swimwear’s Preston Jumpsuit: bestselling style at Revolve and great price! 4. Free People’s Numero Uno Jumpsuit: one of Free People’s most popular jumpsuits and it comes in six colors. 5. Kos Resort Cropped Jumpsuit: love the comfy smocked top that’s making a comeback this summer.
Finally at the beach with the family, so I’m off to put my jumpsuits to good use! 🙂

I want ALL of the racerback jumpsuits AND all of the lounging ones! This article is great! Thank you!!! I’m off to decide how many new jumpsuits I can legitimately order before it becomes ridiculous! ?
I LOVED the idea of the Loveappella Short Sleeve Wrap Top Jumpsuit, but the material felt too thin and showed EV.ER.Y.THING! Also, being 5’10”, I could have used a smidge taller cut. It’s hard to find tall jumpsuits/rompers!!
I love TheMomEdit! Yes, please highlight a few jumpsuits suitable for us taller or long-legged gals. Almost every one I’ve tried is too short.
where can I find the jumpsuit in the main picture of the article? I might have just missed the link but I love that one!
I bought it, and I love it! https://themomedit.com/2018/05/jumpsuits-for-women/
This is a great roundup. I love that you thought so hard about the bras. But I feel like most jumpsuits are just asking too much. They have to be perfectly fitted to look good, and the odds of getting the butt, waist, bust, AND torso length correct is rare. Every one I’ve tried on has needed a good deal of tailoring to fit properly, and I just don’t have a time for that.
If you’re ok with the look of a baggy jumpsuit, then that’s not asking as much. But that’s just not my style.
It’s so much easier and versatile to buy matching sets. I’d love to see an equally compressive article on matching sets! 🙂
