The Comfiest, Easiest Summer Dress

Hey hey…comfy on-sale dress alert! This is going to be a perfect go-to allll summer. Comfy, soft, easy. I think all summer pieces should be that way, yes? And this one is easy to dress up or down, too, making it perfect for travel. It’s 40% off right now, also!

If you’re wondering, this is what it looks like when you get to travel and see your bestie and catch up on sleep. That’s part of the reason I’m so smiley…I got to sleep through the night! But the other reason, of course, was getting to spend a whole long weekend with my soul sister and friend. Poor Nicole was probably hoping I was ok. I slept 11 hours one night, you guys. Don’t worry, I did actually wake up and see lovely Toronto. More on that later, so stay tuned.

Photos by the amazing Nicole Hudson, my favorite Canadian.

  1. Does the top kind of “flop forward” at all when you bend over? Is the material super sheer? Thanks! Also, yes, do you mind sharing your height for reference?

  2. I just got mine in the mail and tried it on! Love it. The front doesn’t flop forward when you lean over. It is a little sheer. I could probably get away without a slip but I will probably end up wearing one. The back is longer than the front which is nice. I’m 5’7 and the front hits just above the knee. The sides do rise higher but it’s super comfy and the fact it hides my tummy and looks great on means its a keeper. I got a large for reference and I weigh 180lbs.

    • I also got this after seeing this! I agree – the front is flattering (and not that floppy), the back easily hides your bra, and the skirt is slightly sheer if you are standing in front of light. I decided to order a large because I hate when skirt are too tight (41″ hips, 31″ waist), and I wouldn’t have wanted to go any smaller on the lower half. I do find that the armholes are pretty deep – with my arms down they come to the bottom of my bra, although they come up high enough to cover my bra when I raise my arms.

  3. I just relieved mine today and it fits amazing! I normally don’t buy stuff online and was very worried but it fits perfectly. Super cute, soft, comfy and makes my booty look great!
