Graphic Tee | Button Plaid Pants | Blazer (similar)| Animal Print Bootie

Anine Bing called. She wants her outfit back.

Well, it ain’t gonna happen. As much of a #fangirl I am, I can’t give this one up. I freekin’ love this get-up…so much. I found these plaid pants at LOFT and couldn’t pick them up fast enough. Seriously. What a cool, modernized version of that classic pant we’ve all had in one iteration or another.

What I immediately realized, while standing in the dressing room (wearing the amazing pants in question) was that these pants…oooo these pants. They would be my new jean. Yep, I said it. I dared to utter that something other than my darling 501s could possibly be one of my everyday, totally wearable go-tos.

I could see them with everything. Well, not everything. Let’s not take me too literally here, people. I more so mean, the stuff I reach for on a daily basis…but usually pair with jeans.

I am so excited about these, I can barely contain it!

So let me take you on a journey. A journey where your eyes will behold wonder upon wonder…in the form of me styling these fabulous plaid pants several different ways, with a variety of things…all of which I am sure you, too, have in your closet.

Outfit Details

tee: Calvin Klein Easy Graphic Tee (TTS, wearing Small) – soft, fits perfectly…and love the bold, but simple graphic. I’ve been wearing it with jeans, too.

pants: LOFT Skinny Button Plaid Pants (Marisa Fit, TTS) – the style I’m wearing is cut narrow from hip to hem, but they also come in a curvier fit (the Julie)…aaaand they come in Plus size, as well. Woohoo, you magical pants!

blazer: old Banana Republic blazer – they have their Long & Lean Blazers now (love, but a bit pricey). The Something Navy Lapel Blazer looks polished, but also a bit causal…and its about half the cost.

booties: Linea Paolo Animal Print Bootie (TTS, wearing 9.5) – I was looking for a low heel bootie and came across these. Perfect. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to wear them with a lot, but I’ve been finding they look great mixed in with other prints, colors, etc.

  1. Those pants are so adorable on you and I love each and every outfit. I just don’t know, though…. can I take the plunge? I’m such a jeans girl in my soul.

  2. Thank you, Lauren! I haven’t given up my jeans, BUT what I love about having a pant like that they up my game a bit, without me having to try. I simply throw them on with whatever I usually wear. They just look more polished. I find it adds some fun and variety. 🙂 Cheers, Cams

  3. Sorry but those pants don’t fit right at all. They have way too much material around the crotch. It is obvious in the photos how the crotch is hanging and when you sit down, there must be a ton of material bagging up around the crotch. Not a good look, especially for someone who wants to wear them to an office.
