I’m obsessed with the new FlexX line of jeans from Express! They’re made with “ultra hyper stretch” and a flexible waist size that’s supposed to “flex” with you if you go up or down in weight. And since my weight increased after surgery (I mean, bed rest will do that) I thought I’d give them a try.
Jeans With Stretch? Express Has ‘Em…& They’re SO Good.
The FlexX jeans are all under $100 and they’re often on sale (right now they’re BOGO 50% off, with many of them marked down at half off already). They come in skinny, cropped, and flare fits, mid-, high- and super-high rises and multiple lengths for the perfect fit. Here I’m wearing a medium that fits sizes 6 – 10. (I also did a video review for you guys to see the differences in fits!)
High-Waisted FlexX Skinny Jeans
These were my favorites AND they’re 50% off! I first tried these cropped jeans in the short length and found them to be too short–which literally never happens for me. The regular cropped length (26″) was just fine for me. I loved the high-rise and the wash is black jean perfection. And if you don’t like the rips, they come without them too.

Super High-Waisted FlexX Skinny Jeans
The super high rise is awesome, especially in this black wash. They almost look like leggings and suck you in all around. At 28″ the regular length is a tad too long for me, but I almost don’t care because they fit so well otherwise and are incredibly comfortable!

High-Waisted FlexX Ripped Flare Jeans
Oooh you know I love my flare jeans…and these did NOT disappoint! Everyone else liked them too, apparently, because they’re almost completely sold out. They’re still available in dark grey, though, which I think would be perfect for the holidays with a shirt like this and some fun jewelry.

If your size range falls between two sizes, do you recommend sizing up or down? Since a Small is a 0-2-4 and a Medium fits 6-8-10, what do you suggest for someone who typically wears a 4 or 6?
Express usually runs large, I would go for small.
