1. Cashmere Sweaters
Cashmere sweaters make a great gift. Lightweight but warm (the two-ply cashmere yarn can insulate up to three times more effectively than regular sheep’s wool), they’re perfect for layering and, of course, super soft.

2. Sorel Boots
I cannot recommend Sorel boots enough. They are SO comfortable and warm, and there are a ton of cute styles. And yes, the ones I’m wearing in the pictures do have a wedge heel . . . but they were still comfortable to hike in. And I love them. (Did I mention they’re waterproof?)

3. Puffer Coats
I personally wouldn’t be able to get through the winter without a good puffer. S13 makes ones that are warm and comfy, but don’t make you look like a giant marshmallow. I love the details like detachable faux-fur hoods and fleece cuffs with thumbholes.
