Holiday-gifting season is here, friends. Woo-hooo!! (If you enjoy that kinda thing.) But if beads of sweat just started to form at your brow, it’ll be OK. Personally, gift giving is so fun for me any time of the year. It’s exhilarating trying to mix the perfect amount of thoughtfulness, usefulness, uniqueness, resourcefulness and (sometimes more than I’d like) frugality. *shrug*
But don’t worry, I understand that for some it can be so, so exciting…and somehow at the same time (or exclusively)…so, so stressful. It’s a lot to think about, let alone plan and spend for. I’m here to lessen that load a little, though. Gather in.
We’re Mastering Stocking Stuffers This Holiday Season: 17 Things Everyone Will Love
In my latest Amazon Live, I covered 17 stocking stuffers that I think are well worth the buy (and gift) and will *actually* wow your recipient. I’d say my handful of winners maaay just get you the Stocking Stuffer Master title. Let’s strive for that fake thing.
(Btw, “stocking stuffer” translates to less-expensive, usually smaller-size gifts that pack a li’l punch — instead of larger, statement gifts. Yeah, let’s call them that.)
I’m covering a variety of items (seriously, I couldn’t conjure up a cohesive theme here if I tried) at a variety of price points, just to give you a little bit of inspo to get you in that gifting head space. If you want a LOT of inspo instead, check out our Amazon Storefront where I put together a giant Stocking Stuffer list of 100 gift-worthy items. You’re welcome.
1. Wireless Charging Mouse Pad
How about this mouse pad? Super-sleek. I love this pretty taupe color and how minimal & slim it is (you can really see it in the Live video), but the best part is that it’s a mouse pad AND a charging station. You just plug it in, lay your phone on the right side, and it charges wirelessly! Sooo nice to have at your desk station. There’s also an extra-large version for more room to charge things like AirPods or an Apple Pencil. Pretty great for under $30 and comes in three colors. That techy person in your life would love you for this one.
2. Wooden Salt Shaker & Pepper Grinder Set
This is is one of my favorite gift picks because of the cute, simple wooden style. I think a pretty salt shaker and pepper mill set is a perfect little gift for a new homeowner, foodie, or someone who just appreciates aesthetically pleasing homewares. These feel super-durable and are currently 20% off, coming to just $26 for the set. So good.
3. Slip Silk Skinny Scrunchie Set
This set of silk skinny scrunchies in the little adorable ornament box is already in perfect gifting form! We looove the brand Slip here at TME. It makes amazing silk pillowcases, eye masks and, now, these little anti-damage hair ties. SO soft, gentle and just pretty.
4. Silicone Pickle Wine Stopper
This little pickle is funny, quirky and pairs well with wine (AKA a total win). It also comes in crystal, cat, chicken and banana shapes. Haha.
5. Capri Blue Volcano Body Wash
Don’t we all have that one friend that loves the Volcano scent from Capri Blue?? I swear we do. This scent is usually synonymous with a candle, but I was looking at the Capri Blue page on Amazon (holiday-gift central if you ask me) and found that it has have dish liquid, cleaner spray and body care too. Go all out on Volcano or any of its other amazing scents.
6. Cure Hydration Mix Packets
Electrolytes are a necessity — we know this. But sometimes…we don’t care about this. Especially when it’s getting festive up in here, and the champagne is tasting like a sweet dose of, well, champagne. These Cure hydrating electrolyte packets are SO helpful. Throw a couple (or an entire box) into each and every stocking you stuff. So good for travel/party/sickness/general dehydration. No added sugar, vegan and caffeine-free.
7. Authentic Beauty Concept Airy Texture Spray
Hair-care lover? Get them a nice hair product! Easy. By this I mean a semi-splurge-worthy one that they don’t necessarily want to purchase on their own (even if it’s one you KNOW they use constantly, it’s just as nice to have a fresh refill in the queue). I’ve used this volumizing texture spray by Authentic Beauty Concept a few times so far, and it’s like…magic. It doesn’t leave your hair crunchy or weighed down. It’s for all hair types, vegan and cruelty-free, and actually smells good.
8. iPhone 10-Foot Charging Cord 3 Pack
Charging cords. Need I say more? Get them a three pack. Everyone. Needs. Them.
9. Reusable Beeswax Food Wrap 3 Pack
For your eco-friendly friend: beeswax wrap. It’s the perfect single-use-plastic alternative, comes in tons of cute prints and colors, and is pretty dang inexpensive. These ones are made with organic cotton and jojoba oil! Simple and SO useful.
10. Butter London Hardware Shine UV Topcoat
$18 for a topcoat nail polish sounds pretty ehhhh until you consider it for your beauty-guru bff. Then (and sometimes only then), it’s worth it and way doable. Pair with a set of other fancy nail polish (Butter London makes THEE BEST), or on its own with other self-care goodies if you really can’t decide on colors for someone else. This thing has rave reviews.
11. Stainless-Steel Olive-Oil Spout
If you know someone who loves olive oil (random but not so random — I can name a few people I know who do), get them one of these. It’s a pretty metallic olive-oil spout that you can put right into the bottle to make it look a little bit fancier — especially if it’s an expensive oil (the perfect add-on…or is the spout the add on? Yeah, that’s probably it). Such an easy way to up their kitchen-counter game.
12. Pendleton Beanie
Beanies or winter hats of any kind are good to gift every year in my opinion, especially when it’s a nicer brand like this Pendleton beanie. It’s actually under $18 (crazy), and it feels reaaaally well made. Love that it’s available in three neutral colors too.
13. Mushroom Sensor Night Light
OK, night lights are NOT only for kids. (I will fight you on this.) This sweet mushroom-shaped one sheds the prettiest cast of light and only turns on in darkness because of the sensor. Fun and safe (adios, nighttime bathroom-run trips & bumps) for anyone.
14. ‘Six California Kitchens’ Cookbook
A cookbook is a year-round gift to me (though it may not fit in a stocking…heh), but I couldn’t not include one. I love making it personal and finding one that your gift receiver will actually use and love, while making sure it’ll look pretty displayed on their countertop too.
15. Dr. Bronners Castile Soap
I hope people don’t roll their eyes at me for including this, but personally, I’d love to receive Dr. Bronners Castile soap in my stocking. (Loser…or…winner? I decide. Winner.) I use this stuff for SO many things, and this little peppermint-scented one is the perfect size to have on the go OR for someone to try it for the first time! There’s something like 200 uses, and I just think it’s that practical, unexpected (& oddly random) gift that can totally come in handy and get someone hooked. I love that Dr. Bronners soap is made with organic oils and fair-trade ingredients. Don’t knock it until you try it!! (It as in gifting this.)
16. Instax Mini Polaroid Film
These Instax mini polaroid film sheets are SO perfect as a stocking stuffer because nobody loves buying film for their cameras. Amazon has tons of fun colors and designs (as well as sizes, so double-check which your gift recipient’s camera takes). No camera? No problem. Amazon also has tons of those too. An unexpectedly fun, new hobby is one of the best gifts.
17. Smiley-Emoji-Shaped Sugar
I mean, have you ever seen smiley-face-emoji sugar shapes (was going to say cubes but….no.)??? Freaking adorable. I envision gifting this sweet (literally) sugar box with a mug and a fancy bag of coffee or hot chocolate. There’s a bunch of other shapes on the Canasuc Paris’ Amazon page, which was so fun perusing.
All of these items can be found in our Amazon list titled “Stocking Stuffers” on our Storefront. Comment below any unique + fun stocking stuffers you’ve found on Amazon! It’s got, like, everything.
