HOME Weekend Sales Post 6.2

So many sales still going strong from last holiday weekend, but coming to a close soon!  And this is also a strong season for half-yearly sales…because, well…yup, here we are on the fast track to halfway through 2018.  Wow!  Can’t quite get my mind around that.

DWR’s Outdoor Sale is the one that has me super excited this week.  Loll chairs make me so happy.  Amazing shape, no maintenance, made from sustainable materials, you can’t see any of the stuff that holds their whole beautiful construct together, and they come in the most amazing colors!  They aren’t inexpensive.  But tell me you don’t fall instantly in love with a chair named Lollygagger?  Dad gifts?  I’d call that a great one!  And tell me that this bench isn’t the perfect for both out front of a city row house and on the porch of a beach house?  And a set of 3 of these dimmable, rechargeable lanterns would be a super fun and totally practical Father’s Day Gift!  Speaking of, if you haven’t found your inspiration for Dad’s Day, see if anything in this round-up does it for you.

If you’ve had your eye on anything, now might be your time!  Especially the great outdoor items so that you can enjoy them this season!  Enjoy your weekend, I hope it’s full of love and lollygagging.  xoxo A

  1. ok love all this stuff….but my question to anyone is what kind of duvet (insert) does one use when its hot out? Have tried a couple and like a sauna when I wake up. My poor husband also! Any ideas>..I love duvet covers!!!!

  2. Maybe just don’t use an insert? We usually have a thin silk comforter that feels fantastic in all seasons. There are also lightweight options from Ikea what we find work well.
