How to: An EASY Colorful Smokey Eye Video Tutorial

I get requests for a “smokey eye” all the time.  There are SO MANY ways to apply a smokey eye, but I wanted to share the EASIEST version with you guys.  All this look takes is two eyeshadow colors of your choice: one dark matte color and one lighter shimmery color.  The dark color is applied to the outer corner, the light color is applied to the inner corner, and if you want more definition you can apply either color to the bottom lash line.  That’s it.  The key to this look is using primer (my favorite is Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion) and BLENDING.  When in doubt, blend!  In the video I put together three different looks (all under 3 minutes) to give you lots of examples.

Products: All eye shadows were MAC colors, applied over Urban Decay’s Eye Shadow Primer Potion using the brush from Urban Decay’s Naked2 Palette

Intro Lips: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso

Purple Eye: Private Viewing and Look at the Eyes

Green Eye: Fourishing and Green Smoke

Blue Eye: Prussian and Moon’s Reflection
