1 Easy Wrap Dress, 3 Ways

I’m loving the versatility of this floral wrap dress from Express.  It comes in petite (something a shorter girl like me is always excited about) as well as regular sizes and is perfect for fall layering.  Because of the pooch-hiding bottom and the low cut (and fastenable) neckline, it also works for first trimester, postpartum and nursing.  Here’s how I’m styling it now.

With Over-the-Knee Boots

I love my over-the-knee boots, especially with mini dresses.  I’ll add tights when it gets colder . . . and maybe a long cardigan, a scarf, etc.  I’m allll about the layers.  (Life with a toddler . . . when you want to take their pic they aren’t having it, but if you’re trying to take a few quick pics without them they’re suddenly all about the camera!)

Over the Knee Boot (similar, only 2 1/2 inch heel for comfort!)

With Statement Booties & an Oversized Jacket

I’m seriously loving red booties right now and I wear them any chance I get.  They add the perfect pop of color to this dress.  I wore my husband’s denim jacket because it’s the perfect oversized fit that I’ve been looking for.  (G reeeeeally wanted to be in these pics . . . and I can’t even with how cute her smile is.)

Red Boots (LOVE these, I’m also drooling over these red pointy toe booties with a lower heel)

Jacket (similar, I’m also loving this light washed oversized jacket)

Over Jeans

I mentioned I was styling up a wrap dress during one of our TME meetings on Zoom and the girls were all like “you have to layer it over jeans!”  And I was like, “um . . . no.”  I just didn’t think it was my style . . . and I can freely admit when I am wrong.  I actually liked it, so thanks ladies!  This is why we work as a team.  Oh and these boots? My favorite purchase of the fall.how to style a wrap dress

Studded Boots (I’m obsessed, these are an option for anyone who wants a lower heel and less studs)

Faux Leather Moto Jacket (old, but this convertible moto jacket is amazing . . . the bottom zips off so you can wear it as a cropped length and it’s currently 40% off!)

Express Mid Rise Jean Leggings (available in regular or petite and short, regular or long lengths)

  1. Okay Scotti I’m going to try the dress with jeans, you totally rocked it. I like that it’s edgy. That dress was made for you, the color it amazing, I really should get out of my boring zone and wear something like this….uh to target i suppose. This babyhood stage is so uninspiring.

  2. For reference how tall are you? And what’s your denim size? I’m 5’3″ and I am a curvy 27/28. Not certain if I can wear petite sizes.
