Fair to say, this past year and a half has been one of change for everyone. For my family, it’s been that and more…spending all of 2020 at home, welcoming a new addition to our family, and watching my mini evolve into a little person who loves school.

The secret’s out, I’m raising a walking talking shopDisney fan girl. All things princesses and Minnie Mouse make her heart sing. shopDisney’s selection of cute-yet-practical apparel did not disappoint! This patterned princess cropped top and two-tone knife-pleat skirt set is too fun to ignore. I see my little wearing this as a set or as separates, paired with these high-tops and this adorable Minnie sweatshirt, this entire look is off the charts in adorable-ness!
If they made them in adult size, I would buy every piece in a heartbeat myself! Alas, they don’t but I was more than happy with my very own Minnie Mouse T-shirt. First day of school will see us strutting into the schoolyard (physically distanced) in all our matching shopDisney glory. 😉

Cute & Functional: shopDisney Backpack + Lunch Essentials
I’ve been on a hunt for a cute, yet functional backpack for my little for quite a while now: small enough to fit her little frame, yet big enough to hold her school essentials. This Frozen mini backpack does that and so much more. Seriously, how adorable is it?! My little literally squealed in delight when she saw it and couldn’t wait to put it on. It holds her Minnie Mouse water bottle and Mickey Mouse Repeatables snack bag easily.

I’ll be honest, I had a hard time deciding which shopDisney stationery supplies to pick for my little. Every single one was unbelievably cute and packed with the necessary tools she would need to sketch, create and play to her heart’s content. I finally decided on this Minnie Mouse stationery kit and as you can see below, she couldn’t wait to open it up and get creating! Afterward, she packed up everything neatly into her backpack and informed me she didn’t intend to lose a single item! I felt my heart would burst with pride!

This year and a half has been one for the books. So much change and disruption for all of us, but looking at my little one, I’m reminded of how resilient we all are, and how the littlest things can make such a difference. I can’t know what the future holds, but I’m reassured that as she starts this new chapter, I can help her feel as special and as happy as possible.
Her memories of the first day of 3K won’t be of masks, hand sanitizers, saying bye to mommy by the door, but of a magical princess outfit, a shiny backpack filled with Minnie Mouse stationary and of herself and mommy skipping to school in all our shopDisney glory. And for that, I’m thankful.
