A huge thank you to Vuori and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.
Scotti has been raving (and raving) about Vuori joggers for quite some time now, so when the opportunity arose to test them out myself, I didn’t hesitate. And I can now see why there’s been so much fuss — not only is the fit spot-on, but the fabric…well: it almost defies description.
Vuori Performance Joggers & Elevation Leggings: An Investment In Happiness
Vuori’s Performance Joggers (the ones my sister loves) are soft, comfortable to wear, and look cute enough for running around the city. And Vuori’s leggings are similar: soft, technical, and wildly beautiful. These pieces are simply a joy to put on in the morning.
Vuori’s Performance joggers are made from a fabric that is best described as soft and…silky? They’re smooth enough to caress your skin (hence the ‘silky’ description), yet matte enough and just thick enough that the phrase ‘cloud-soft’ comes to mind.
They’re not overly thin, nor shiny, nor cold. Despite the ‘silky’ description, these pieces are cozy. They’re honestly like nothing else I’ve ever tried.
But Vuori doesn’t just make joggers. They also make seriously hardworking (and gorgeous) athletic wear. Their leggings are stay-put and wicking, yet also very soft. Think matte, not shiny.
I love the uber-high-rise waist — one that stays up without squeezing — and the fact that these leggings are comfortable enough to wear all day (even after working out in them).
Vuori: The Rise, The Shine
My goal, over the last few months, has been to workout five days per week. I’ve found that when I really get a good sweat going, everything improves: skin, sleep, energy levels, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, my ability to mom…literally everything gets better when I commit to the sweat.
I’ve started putting on workout clothes the second I get up. No matter how early, how cold, or how grumpy I am…I put on workout clothes. No further commitment, just take that one first step. To use Vuori’s mantra, it’s The Rise, The Shine.
I like that this mantra sounds like a process. Like a decision one actively has to make. Because some mornings, even putting on workout clothes feels like work. Some mornings it’s hard to remember that I am, ultimately, investing in my happiness.
But it’s amazing how much that one first step helps. I’ve found that I’m much more likely to workout if I’m already dressed for it.
I also appreciate the little touches — the things that make these pieces both more legit (like properly stashing your phone if you go for a run) and unique (like this wildly beautiful pattern). I find these leggings are comfortable enough for running outside, or doing my HIIT workouts outdoors or in.
And for those days when it doesn’t happen? When there are too many other demands on my time or I’m feeling particularly rundown or I just have a totally off day?
I can always make a different decision tomorrow.
The Rise, The Shine.
