Dressing the bump has been hard, guys. I did not expect that. Before getting pregnant, I could throw on just about anything and make it work. My great aunts’ old farm jeans and a crop top? Yeahhh. Biker shorts and a shirt three times my size? You bet. A simple but classic sweater paired with go-to pants? Sure!

And then I got pregnant. And that belly started to grow. All of a sudden, that easy-breezy approach to dressing myself was nowhere to be found, and I was left staring at my closet feeling a little foolish that I thought I could just keep repurposing all my favorite go-to items. Oh, how wrong I was.

They can be styled with your go-to sneakers and a beanie for a coffee run (of which I’ll be rocking all fall long), or with statement boots and jewelry for that perfect holidays-at-home outfit this year!

The best part is that these dresses aren’t maternity-specific and are still items I can wear once the baby has arrived! I definitely recommend investing money in a few key maternity pieces (like these dream maternity jeans I reviewed), but when you can find something that works before, during and after pregnancy, it just feels like the biggest win of all time.
