Lots of peeps have been inquiring about a review of my latest favorite hand bag, the Everlane Form Bag. This beautiful messenger style tote is structured, easy to carry and holds a ton. The magnetic closure is lovely (if you don’t pack the thing full like I do) and the colors are classic yet updated.
You know I’m a backpack purse fan, but I’ve had this Everlane Form bag since April and have been carrying it more than my backpack purses. I know! It’s so easy to find things in it because of its structure. The handle is just sturdy and wonderful for holding the weight in it, plus it’s comfy on the shoulder. Somehow the bag is structured and really well-made without being super-heavy, too. If you don’t overload it (oh, but you can) it feels surprisingly lightweight.
I took it to Austin in April for a conference and it was perfect for that. My only problem was that it only barely fit under the seat in front of me on the plane, but I was able to fit a folder for the conference, my travel coffee mug, a water bottle, my wallet and all of my other needs for long conference days in this lovely piece. It has a small interior pocket at the top perfect for your phone and keys. It was easy to find things in it on the plane, too, and though I had to fold the top down just a bit to fit under the seat, it wasn’t a real issue.
Everlane Form Bag: The Takeaway
The style of this bag is chic, but comfortable, and I get compliments every time I carry it. I think Everlane just nailed it on a really great bag that will last forever. The best part? If anything gets on it, it wipes off. YES. Structured yet lightweight and easy to carry? Yes, please.

Vans Classic Slip Ons: LOVE these. They take a couple of wears to break in, but they’re awesome when they do. The perfect casual-but-interesting summer sneaker to wear with everything. They’d be a great travel sneaker. TTS. Also, here are a few sizes on Amazon.
Everlane Lightweight Hoodie: You may remember this from my previous post, but it’s the perfect summer-weight hoodie and a great length on me at 5’4″. TTS. Wearing a Small.
[BLANKNYC] High-Rise Shorts: Love these. They are stretchy and flattering, and long enough without being too long. I thought I could pull off midi shorts with flats, but nah. These short legs need shorter shorts with sneakers. I sized up to a 28 as I typically do in shorts.
Everlane White Straight Leg Crop – So cute and TTS and a thick enough white pant you don’t see through it. Score.
Everlane Day Glove Flat – Can’t say enough good things. I’m not a flats girl, typically, but these are so flattering and so comfy. I’m wearing my regular size and they’re just a tiny bit long, but otherwise stay on and fit perfectly. Wearing color Cream and Red here.
Victoria Emerson Bracelet: LOVE these! They’re fun and summer, and mine has SKULLS. Looks like my exact one is sold out, so I linked to a white one with skulls, but here’s another fav of mine.
