Native Deodorant’s Fall Scents Are Surprising! (and we tested them all…)

We’re BACK!  Once again, Gwen and I sat down to smell-test Native’s Fall scents.  If you are new here, you need to know that we’re kiiiinda crazy about Native’s all-natural deodorant.  Native was a reader recommendation, originally, but it was recommended by so many readers that we knew we had to check it out.  Not only does Native smell really, really good, but it’s surprisingly effective.  If you’ve never tried natural deodorant before (or if you have and wasn’t impressed, like me)….give Native a try.  Mike and I have both switched to Native – we even used it during our hot, sticky summer – and we’ve been really happy with the results.

Native’s Fall line up is good.  I was assuming that Native would be unveiling nothing but warm, spicy scents for Fall….but they have some happy (and unexpected) surprises in store.

Native’s New Scents For Fall

Grapefruit & Sandalwood – This is billed as a guy’s deodorant, but we both found it to be softer than the other guys’ scents, and not as spicy.  This would be a good one for tweens and teens, or for women who don’t want something overly feminine. (For Mike, I still prefer the Citrus and Herbal Musk.)

Orange & Honeysuckle – This one smells a little like a creamsicle.  The honey note is bright, and is almost an equal partner to the orange.  The result?  Is just yummy.

Lemon Zest & Pomegranate – This was our newest fav.  It smells like lemon deodorant, but in a really good way – promise!  The lemon note is dominant, but is somehow softened (and also made more complex) by the pomegranate.  I can’t quite get enough of this one.

Lilac & White Tea – As I mentioned in the video, this one smells like summer.  An unexpected choice for Fall, perhaps, but I can see myself reaching for this one as the temps drop….just to remember.  (It’s dead-on lilac and I LOVE IT.)

Pumpkin Spice Latte – Sooooo…..I did not like this one, but I’m not a PSL fan.  (I explain why in the video. ) BUT! BUTBUTBUT!  If you do like the drink, you’ll likely love the deodorant – it smells just like it. And like the Coconut and Vanilla scent (one of Native’s originals),  the sweet scent softens when worn and the result is much more subtle.

  1. My 8yo & I just switched to Native & are pretty happy. Works much better than the other hippie brands! Love the scents, esp the Orange Honeysuckle. The Lemon Pomegranate smells amazing but it gave me a rash, so be careful! 🙁

  2. You had me convinced and I tried Native and I LOVE it! I am shocked. I have tried other natural deodorants and haven’t liked them but Native is a winner!!!
