Try This: Oversized Denim Jacket + Chino Shorts

Ah, Fall.  There’s nothing like it.  Strolling along the sidewalk, hot coffee in hand, leaves crunching underfoot.  (The sun beating down, sweat cascading down your back, the explosion of rage when you check your email and see one more “We’re Falling for FALL!” campaign email featuring sweaters one cannot hope to wear anytime soon.)

Ya know….FALL. 2017 style.

One trick that seems to work OK most days – shady days, or later in the evening days, or the days the East Coast gets a brief respite from 90 degrees days – is to throw on an oversized denim jacket.  The proportions here (big jacket, tiny shorts) just works.  As a bonus…the stole-this-from-my-boyfriend-Chad-in-1986 vibe is cool enough to make even chino shorts look good (obvi he was the quarterback).
