I think we all know by now that J.Crew has been killing it with beautiful, cozy finds this fall. They consistently make lovely sweaters at reasonable sale prices every fall that all of us as a team fall in love with.

This year, what first drew me in to a new little try-on sesh, were these amazing sweater blazers that speak to my menswear-loving self who appreciates a solid classic piece to mix with my sporty + edgy closet. I wound up loving the camel so much I added the heather gray.

10 Chic J.Crew Pieces & A Few Ideas For Layering Them

Then…all the other things drew me in. I adore layering up J.Crew pieces and this year was no different. So, I’m doing a little fall #dressingroomselfies sesh to share what I found. Let’s get into it…

sizing notes: I’m 5’4″, not-quite-petite, typically a S in tops, 6 in coats + dresses, 28 in jeans and 32DD. Most J.Crew petite sizing it too small for me overall.

1. Let’s Start With This Gorgeous Coat

I can’t even, friends. This Villa Coat in Italian stadium-cloth wool is so beautiful and even more so in person. Soft yet structured, an amazing collar and the most beautiful shade of slate green you’ve ever seen. It’s one of those coats you put on and just say ‘oh yeah. THIS is amazing.’ Wearing a size 6 here, which is my typical size in coats. LOVE so much. Spoiler alert: kept it.

2. Next Up, This Half-Zip Soft Sweater

This half-zip cocoon sweater is amazing. I’ve worn it a ton of times since I got it, and it’s just easy, on trend, soft, the right weight and versatile with the collar up or down.

These jeans have a super-cute fit, but I don’t love the wash in person. It’s dingy and didn’t look that way online. So sad because otherwise they are great. TTS. Wearing a 28.

…Half-Zip Sweater Layered With A Striped Tee

This is the tee I’ve had for a while now, and I adore it. Shana has it in the taupe stripe, and I’m so tempted to snag that, too, because it’s just one-of-those-tees…perfectly soft and slightly oversized and great for layering. I LOVE it layered, and it doesn’t even bother me you can kinda see the stripes through the ivory zip sweater. But of course you could swap for another shade to prevent that. TTS. Wearing a S.

Or The Half-Zip Sweater + A Turtleneck & Slim Black Jeans

This is hearkening on ’80s Christmas movie fashion without the festive sweater, and I’m on the fence about it. But I’m also kinda here for it? These jeans are flattering and cute, but slimmer than I thought they would fit in the leg. Perhaps a nice transition out of true skinny jeans though if you’re still on the fence about a wider/looser fit? TTS and flattering on the booty! Wearing a 28.

3. Swap The Pullover For The Sweater Blazer I Love

Jacket of the season, for sure. This sweater blazer is just amazing. So much so that I have it in two colors now. Some have complained it’s not super-soft and yeah, it’s not baby soft, but that also means it will hold up well and not stretch out. I wear it layered anyway and it’s definitely not scratchy to me. I adore it. Especially styled with the white button down below. TTS. Wearing a S.

There’s something I just love about this combo. The jacket tones down the high-contrast stripes a bit and makes it slightly more casual/menswear. These joggers are not J.Crew, but my absolute favorites…flattering and weather-resistant. TTS.

4. A Soft Striped Top For A Graphic Pop

And here’s the striped top on it’s own. Super cute. Very soft. Very stripe-y but I like it. And I love the v-neck for a flattering cut.

5. The Soft Turtleneck Sweater That’s A Team Favorite

Each year we come back to this Cocoon Turtleneck Sweater. They’re warm, but not too heavy, perfect for layering under jackets, soft but not cashmere prices, often on sale and just lovely. They tend to run big, but this year not as much so as last year. This is still a size down for me though, in an XS and I love the fit. Don’t size down if you want a bit more length in the body and arms, though.

This is definitely a very me outfit…with edgy meets classic. I’d wear this everyday (that it isn’t raining here, heh.) Favorite leather jackets ever are from AllSaints and they tend to start going on sale this time of year!

6. This Gray Cashmere Sweater Is Gorgeous

J.Crew cashmere is really lovely, and this crewneck ribbed sweater is no exception. I adore it layered with a collared shirt, but it’s definitely soft enough to wear on its own, too. TTS. Wearing a S.

7. Get Comfy With A Cozy Jogger Set

This set is super-soft and really cute for layering or as loungewear. It fits me a little big though, but because it’s cotton there might be a little bit of shrinking in the wash. If you have it, let us know in the comments. It’s a lighter cotton set that isn’t fleece-lined but again, still super-soft and comfy. I’d say it runs big, but maybe only size down if you prefer fitted cozy.

8. This Cashmere Sweater Is Lovely & Worth Mentioning

This soft roll-neck cashmere sweater is just beautiful. It’s a loose fit without being huge, and the neckline is perfect. It’s so lovely, comes in a few gorgeous neutrals and one stunning emerald green, and is offered in sizes XXS – 3X. At just over $100, it’s a great price for cashmere. Size up if you want a cozy look like on the model. But fits TTS.

9. The Jury Is Still Out On These Velour Joggers

Tried Them With A Puffer

These joggers seemed amazing. I ordered them in the sporty gray because I love the idea of sporty meets glam…but I just don’t think they met…very well. Haha. Perhaps if you’re taller they would hit at a better spot on your ankle, and they’d look fab with flats or a flat mules. On me they just seem a little dumpy. The puffer is also meh…as it’s super-cute from the front but not flattering in the back with a peplum type bottom that sticks out.

I still love the idea of the pants and they do come in other more glam colors, but eh. Something is just off about the fit for me. Super bummed.

10. And Last, But Not Least, This Striped Turtleneck

You’ve seen this striped turtleneck layered above, but it’s such a cute fit I wanted to show it on its own. It’s a thicker cotton material than their super soft tissue turtlenecks I love, but still really adorable with a slight vintage vibe.
