No Bra Required: Beyond Yoga’s Black Midi Dress (Super Soft, Supportive & CUTE)

Hold the phone! This amazing tank dress is cute, versatile, AND made out of my very favorite fabric ever: Beyond Yoga’s Space-dyed fabric. If you’ve ever tried Beyond Yoga’s cult-favorite leggings, you know.

This fabric is (not only) SO freaking soft, but it also holds its shape, and washes and dries really well. Most of the TME editors have had (and loved) their Beyond Yoga leggings for years now, and can attest to how well they hold up.

I adore a simple black tank dress for summer…dressing it up or mostly wearing it casually for everyday, so, when I recently spotted Beyond Yoga’s dress at Zappos — made out of the same space-dyed fabric — I had to check it out. (And spoiler: it doesn’t require a bra.)

Beyond Yoga Made A Casual Midi Dress With ALL The Perks

Friends. I could go on and on, but let’s start with the fact that this Beyond Yoga dress doesn’t require a bra. Hooray! Isn’t that what we all want in our summer dresses? The shelf bra is supportive for every day and is so comfy. And that neckline? So flattering. The fit is true to size. I’m wearing a S here and I’m 5’4″, a 32DD and a size US 6 typically; I wear a S in their famous leggings, too.

How I Found This Cute Summer Dress At Zappos

I love that when I head to Zappos to find something new, I know I can search specifically for what I want. That’s exactly how I found this amazing dress. I went to their site and clicked Women>Dresses and then headed to the filters on the left-hand side of the page.

I can choose to filter by my size, length, sleeve options, price point, color, and more…so many great time-saving clicks when you really want to hone in on a certain piece. This is so handy for shoe shopping, too, and they have the best selection of sandals for summer! (Including my cute slides from Madewell.)

And when I want to warm this cute black midi tank dress up a bit? Adding a breezy button-down shirt on top works great…so I filtered women’s tops by ‘white’ ‘long sleeve’ and this shirt from Abercrombie popped up.

It’s soft and light and perfect for summer. I like to wear it tied at the waist on my shorter frame. I sized up to a M in this top, but it definitely runs TTS, so stick with your regular size. I adore being able to get Abercrombie pieces at Zappos! The shipping is so quick and easy!

It’s fair to say I will be living in this Beyond Yoga dress for much of the summer. It’ll be perfect for travel, and easy anytime I want to grab something cute last minute. I’m back to wanting everything in my life to be this space-dyed soft stretchy fabric. Haha. Good thing Zappos has a ton of options from Beyond Yoga on their site (like these go-to joggers,) as well as fave brands Madewell, Abercrombie, Roxy and more.
