Another fun surprise: The Madewell Sale was extended!! It fell off my radar earlier this week, but now it’s back, baby. I especially love this top that Linzi snagged in her recent try-on sesh and in case you missed them, their fun sneakers are pretty hard to beat (also on sale).
Finally, did you see catch this cute little puff sleeve sweatshirt from Shana’s recent Saks post? I’ve been crushing on it, HARD…and now it’s on sale in gray. Woohoo!

Jess’ Sale Picks
Spring is definitely in the air this week here in Western Michigan, with sunshine and 60-degree weather all week long. (Temps we usually don’t see around here until late April or early May). And it was GLORIOUS. So now, I’m officially in full-fledged Spring-Mode: I’m ready for sandals, sandals, shorts, even swimsuits. Bring it on. Knowing Michigan, we aren’t quite done with winter yet. But I definitely am. This week the spring sales were SO good: I splurged hard at Banana Republic’s 50% off everything ‘Friends and Family Event’ where I found my new favorite jeans for spring for only $50. I also went crazy at Madewell, (these lugsole slides are everything), where it’s 20% off $100 purchase, or 30% off $200 purchases or more with the code: HAVEFUN. So this week’s sales picks turned out to be the perfect spring capsule of sorts.
Meredith’s Sale Picks
Hey y’all! We are officially on spring break. It’s weird to think that this time last year I was almost in my 3rd trimester and my husband and girls were in to Florida to visit his family. I’m longing for travel again, but in the meantime, tropical scents, like this body scrub from Black-owned Business Uniquely Bath Co. will have to do (seriously their scent combos sound amazing). Linzi’s Sale Picks
Getting straight to sales this week because I’m still super-excited about Madewell’s buy more/get more savings event. If you missed it, I did a huge Madewell try-on sesh with 10 different tops, each paired with 3 different pairs of MOTHER jeans, complete with pros/cons of each top. I LOVE these types of posts…so fun to put together.
More sales…if you’re looking for a fancy work backpack, Nordstrom has price matching on TUMI right now. And while we’re talking about fancy…I keep going back to visit Black-owned-business LemLem’s swimsuit collection…I doubt these will go on sale any time soon, but they’re just so pretty…splurge-worthy?? Maybe! Still debating whether to click purchase.
Cam’s Sale Picks
I am into shoes this week…and I came across a fantastic baby blue ballet flat! Wow. I am currently wearing a white midi dress that could really use them. Ordering!
Anyways, the weather has been golden this week for us. So we’ve been able to spend hours outside, playing out back on the trampoline, in the driveway with bikes and basketballs, walks to the field down the road from us, park, etc., My favorite thing about this time of year is being able to take a book out to the back patio, lounging on our outdoor cushioned loveseat…reading a good book, sipping iced coffee. Aaaaaah. Its perfection! Oh, that and the sunsets when the air has that delicious not-to-chilly-not-too-warm quality. My gosh, it makes me so happy.

Hey, hey Friday. Y’all. If you have a Portlander friend you may notice an increase in energy levels in them this week…we got sun! For multiple days! SO freaking needed. Looks like we’re all talking about the weather this week, haha. It’s that time of year. We. Can. Make. It. And with the increase in vaccination rates, too? I do see that glimmer of hope after a very dark winter. Can I just also say I so appreciate the candidness around mental health these days compared to even a few years ago? Yes, we still have a ways to go, but I appreciate that I can have my daughter grow up in a society where it’s normalized and not hushed or surrounded with shame. Therapy. Is. Great. And I hope our healthcare system & society can continue to prioritize it more and more.
Also therapeutic for me…trying on a bunch of jeans. I know. Not for everyone. Somehow it IS for me tho. You may have seen my latest boyfriend jean post where I leave unsure whether I like them at all. It happens. In other fashion finds, this quilted sweatshirt please, and this gorg pale pink cozy top from Black-owned Zellie for She comes in extended sizes at Nordstrom. I’m also excited that these killer pants are on sale at Athleta. Need. Hoping there’s sunshine where you are, friends. xoxo

Hey, guys! So if you LOVE Oribe (raises hand), be sure to take advantage of Verishop’s Semi-Annual Beauty Obsessed Event–which is long for 15% off your beauty purchase. Oribe is rarely on sale and is crazy expensive, so I tend to try to stock up while it’s discounted. This shampoo is amazing (especially on dry and/or damaged hair) and Shana & I both swear by their Après Beach Wave and Shine spray. It gives amazing texture and smells soooo good.
Greenlea’s snowboard lesson was canceled today due to icy conditions on the hill–we had a huge rainstorm this week and I can’t believe how much snow is gone for this time of the year. The deck is completely clear (something that didn’t happen until like mid-April last year?) and the sun is supposed to be shining tomorrow, so we’re going to take advantage and enjoy it while we can. Happy Friday, y’all! I can’t believe the weekend is already here, and we are supposed to get two feet of snow! What happened to the great weather?! With so much snow in the forecast, I am planning on doing absolutely nothing, with the exception of some face masks. Speaking of skincare, right now Verishop is offering 15% off of all their beauty products, and some of my all-time favorites are included in the sale. I am also loving this long shacket that’s on sale, too — I think it would be so cute over a co-ord set. Hello friends! I’m a bit in shock that it’s Friday already. The weather here has been very spring-like, with melting snow and the warmest of sunshine — it’s been so glorious. The hub’s birthday is this weekend, so I’m very excited to celebrate him, while enjoying some more forecasted sunshine, our sweet little baybay, and carrot caaaaake, hey-oh!!
Last week I was mesmerized by Antho’s sale section and turns out — the same happened this time around, too. There are some new dresses that caught my eye, including this amazing slip dress (it also comes in plus sizes)! Also, if you’re not following TME’s Instagram you may have missed that this amazing sweatshirt is back in stock — in new colors — AND on sale! Em’s Sale Picks
Hey gang! Wooo, Friday! I may or may not have allowed myself a second matcha latte today (just restocked my go-to brand) so I’m amped! But not in, like, that buzzy, anxious, coffee kinda way! Just feeling like I could take on the world (or run around the block a few times) and pumped on the weekend! Also wearing my matcha-colored set from my recent Cotton On post (so many surprising finds there) and feeling extra, well, extra! Phew.
The sale I’m most excited about this week is hands down Nordstrom Rack’s winter clearance thing. Extra discounts on all their already-clearanced winter stuff, which means rad deals on classic outerwear, but also more seasonless finds like boots (snapped these up to try, such a steal! — they remind me of my beloved Frye Ninas, with a little more hardware) and sweaters. We’ve all been gabbing about Madewell, too, and if you’re shopping the Buy More Sale, this skirt feels like a truly wearable item to add to a spring wardrobe. Versatile, pretty, easy to rock up a bit. And under $30. Happy weekend!
