Casual + comfy + cute — those are my three main outfit goals while getting dressed for a festive and frenzied day of last-minute Holiday Shopping. As tempted as I am to always dress up every time I’m doing anything Christmas related — ya know, decked out with some sequins or velvet — I have to remind myself that I’ll be dealing mostly with crowded stores, long lines and packed parking lots — so comfort is KEY.
What To Wear Holiday Shopping
My basic Holiday Shopping Outfit formula comes down to this: an interesting tee, a loose, lightweight cardigan, worn-in boyfriend jeans and walkable boots. (I leave my coat in the car as long as it’s not freezing outside, because I just end up taking it off and lugging it around).

Tee – Sanctuary Beacon Tee (in Caramel Leopard), $32.70 on Amazon – This is the actual tee I’m wearing, and I love the darker brown color of it. Most other leopard print tees I looked at were a lighter, beige shade. I love this richer shade! It’s super-soft and the fit is relaxed (TTS).
Cardigan – Free People’s Faux Fur Cardigan, 40% off for $88.80 at Nordstrom – So soft, I love this thing!
Jeans – AGolde’s Jamie High Rise Jeans, $168.00 at Shopbop – I like these because they’re a similar style to the vintage Levi 501 jeans that I love, BUT the denim has a little more give than Levi’s do.
Booties – Sam Edelman Walden’s Booties, $104.90 at Nordstrom – Just an all-around great everyday bootie. I love this darker shade of brown; it has a bit more of a Western edge to it, which I’m loving right now, and it goes great with brown and black!
