#ReaderStyle Spotlight: Elizabeth’s LBD + Moto Jacket

Happy Tuesday!

Do you remember Elizabeth from our BumbleBFF dinner and our #TMEStyleChallenges? She’s a local reader-turned-friend we are SO happy to have met her! (And to the rest of our Philly #TME readers we’ve yet to meet – we’d love for you to say hi!!)

Anyway, Elizabeth has some serious style and I’d consider her pretty fearless when it comes to her fashion! We love to see what she tries out over on her IG feed (@elizabethrafter) and this one in particular caught our eye. Does it look familiar? Keep scrolling..(especially if you have a wedding or event coming up!)

It’s inspired by Laura’s London look from last Fall!

Elizabeth liked it so much, she made it her own for a wedding this past weekend and she NAILED IT. For an April wedding with a chance of snow* she wore a classic LBD + a black moto jacket for some warmth (*yep that’s still our reality here in Philly) complete with some killer red accessories. #Laurawouldbeproud

Outfit Details

Dress (most similar) – A little black dress worthy of rocking again and again.

More Little Black Dresses

Jacket (similar) – Elizabeth’s moto jacket was tagged as Michael Kors so we grabbed a similar one. Our favorite wardrobe staple.

More Moto Jackets

Shoes – Marc Fisher shoes have yet to let me down and apparently Elizabeth is a fan, too! Love the pattern on this pair and the extra straps make them way better for dancing (;

More Party Shoes

Earrings (similar) – Sugarfix by Baublebar may be the best kept secret ever. They’re the same (or very VERY similar) products just for less at Tar-jay. I bet she gets a TON of wear out of these.

  1. Wow wow wow!!! ??? Thanks so much for the feature!! You guys deserve all the credit for the inspiration, though!!! Thanks!!!

  2. I am on the hunt for a faux leather moto jacket to replace an oldie that I recently had to recycle. I have tried so many and they’ve all been duds! Any recommendations for a great faux leather moto?
