You know that gorgeous leopard skirt we all fell in love with a couple of years ago? I was recently on the hunt for something similar for this post on leopard midi skirts, when I came across the BEST dupe for the super-popular (but quite pricey) Réalisation Par version. Aaand the one I found is only $29. I knew I had to order it and do a full review, so we could see if it was worth a try.

Save vs. Splurge: The Leopard Print Midi Skirt To Know About

$29 Leopard Print Bias Midi Skirt

This great skirt drapes nicely, and looks well-made with no weird gaping seams. It’s so light and comfy without being see-through. Win! And the print is great. If you know me at all, you know I’m a lover of animal print, but also so so picky when it comes to finding chic prints. This skirt fits the bill, and is true-to-size and very comfy. I mean. What a score.

Remember the gorg Réalisation Par leopard print midi skirt? I found the BEST dupe for $29. With the same bias cut & similar patten, a save v. splurge review is on.

Leopard Print Midi: Amazon Skirt vs. Réalisation Par

Wow, look how similar the pattern on the fabric is in contrast to the more expensive version when they’re side-by-side! That is typically where I can really spot the difference, but I’d say this is a super good match. The fabric of my version is polyester while the Réalisation Par is silk, but my $29 skirt feels nice on and isn’t scratchy. When I showed Shana, she said it has the exact same waistband as her much pricier version. It also hasn’t been extra static-y like many cheaper fabric skirts can be. The original version is still around for $180 and even $140 on eBay. I don’t get on board with all duplicates (big brands, stop stealing artists’ work) but when it makes a super popular, high-priced item like this available to more of the general public? Yes, thank you.

A Few More Leopard Midi Skirt Details

This $29 pal of mine also looks good with flat sandals and shoes and the waistband is comfy. It doesn’t roll or bunch or dig in too much. The bias cut is super flattering, too. Surprisingly, this skirt checks all the boxes.

I’ll be honest, I was really judgy about this skirt before I tried it, but dang. It’s a find. Again, if you need more inspo for styling it up, I did this post not long ago to help us out. They’re one of my very favorite styles of skirts to wear for summer, and I’m so glad to have found a really reasonable option! What’s your favorite way to wear a printed skirt? I’m always up for additional ideas, friends!

    • I did! I ordered both the Small & Medium to try and the Small fit best. I’m guessing their chart is inaccurate. I’d say the sizing is pretty spot-on!

  1. Agree on the size chart! A large fits a 25 inch waist? It’s 35 inches long? That would be like a maxi skirt on me!

    • Oh weird! I don’t think I noticed the size chart, but yes. I ordered the Small and the Medium and the Small is what I’m wearing here! I am guessing they used a chart from another brand or something.

  2. Thank you for showing the waistband! That’s always where the dealbreaker is on a fabric like this, but it looks thick enough to not be a pain.

    • Ah you’re so welcome! Yes, sometimes the elastic is so thin it digs in or rolls. I haven’t had trouble with that at all on this one!

    • The description of sizing on this skirt seem to be so incorrect. I saw that but no, it’s not plus sized. I wish it were offered in more extended sizes. It follows the typical straight sizing of S-XL.
