So EVERYTHING at Abercrombie is 50% off for myAbercrombie members (it’s free to sign up) and there are LOTS of good things to choose from. You’ve probably seen this puffer all over Instagram (it’s GOOD), but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Abercrombie’s newest stuff. Here’s what I loved:
1. These Jean Leggings
Abercrombie always has really good denim and these didn’t disappoint (as you can see because I wore them with EVERYTHING else I got). I followed the suggestions in reviews and sized down to a 27 (I’m usually a 28) in the regular length, and they were perfect. They come in a number of washes and three different lengths. Super comfortable.
2. This Velvet Puffer
Yes, it is as good as everyone says. My favorite thing about this coat is that it can easily be dressed up or down. I’m loving the velvet–it looks just as good with jeans and sneakers as it does with fancy pants or skirts. I love the collar, too.
3. This Sweater Dress
Lord knows I’m a sucker for a sweater dress. This one doesn’t disappoint. I probably won’t be able to wear it with bare legs for much longer, so I’ll be pairing it over tights and leggings and jeans . . . I like that I can wear it over these denim leggings without a weird waistband showing. It was a little short, so if you’re taller than 5’4″, I recommend getting the long (if you’re planning to wear it as a dress). It also comes in petite!
4. These Layers
This lace cami has a little stretch to it, which makes it so much more comfortable than a lot of satiny camis that are super tight with no give. The henley is SUPER soft, but it was a little tighter in the belly so I’d size up (it comes in a bunch of colors). I love the lace of the cami peeking through the neckline. And you can’t go wrong with this shawl cardigan . . . I want it in all the colors.
5. The Velvet Jumpsuit
I loved this the second I saw it. Unfortunately, a small was too small for my lower half–a typical problem for pear shapes. I can easily size up to the medium, though, because the straps are adjustable, and it’ll give me a little more room for the booty. The ribbon belt is perfectly placed to make the whole thing more flattering (even from the side). It’s obviously a little colder in Michigan now, so I’ll be pairing it with a long cardigan like this one.
6. The Chiffon Bodysuit
I loved everything about this bodysuit–the sleeves, the neckline, the dots–except for the way it fit on the bottom. I’m wearing a small, and the bottom is just too small for my bottom (see what I did there?). Anyway, this one is beautiful, and if you’re a little more even on top and bottom, you won’t be disappointed!
