My answer to every outfit, wintertime version: graphic sweatshirts. You may have seen me rocking many a graphic tee over the years. They have that casual, cool vibe I’m always going for, and pair well with otherwise dressier/preppier pieces. I can’t look too put-together or too plain, and having some print element is…my thing.
Cute Graphic Sweatshirts & 3 Ways To Wear ’em
The graphic sweatshirt, then, is perfect for this time of year. It nails that casual vibe, but still adds some warmth and a pop of print. I love it paired with anything from leather pants to faux fur, from plaid pants to plaid blazers. Here are a few graphic sweatshirts that fit the bill of easily wearable and not too cheesy.
01/ 02/ 03/ 04/ 05/ 06/ 07/ 08/ 09/
01/ mother earth: Love the vintage vibe of this one and the shrunken fit…and of course the message.
02/ los angeles…: It’s my fav Anine Bing, and these just fit so well…modern and a bit oversized, but not too long or slouchy
03/ apres ski: Irish coffee anyone?
04/ blondie: One way or another, you should get yourself a graphic sweatshirt (har har)
05/ AV: LOVE the colors!
06/ embroidered grey: Super-cute, more minimal graphic print on this one.
07/ bing: favorite brand ever. I want it all. Anine Bing is the coolest.
08/ fleur: For you romantics out there.
09/ surf: Even if you don’t, sport a summery vibe in winter and you might feel better!
Street Style Inspo: 3 Cool Graphic Sweatshirt Outfit Ideas
Outfit Idea 1: Preppy Vibe – Add Plaid Pants
I love this combo because it’s a little more unexpected. This could work with any comfy dress pants really to make them weekend-wearable. Pop a camel coat over top for added warmth.

Outfit Idea 2: Rainy Day Momiform – With Coated Denim & A Raincoat
The graphic sweatshirt here adds some visual interest to an outfit that would otherwise be pretty dark. Finding graphic tees or sweatshirts with text that isn’t cheesy is sometimes tricky, but city or country names are always a good neutral choice. This is a big part of my roundup because there are plenty of ridiculous choices out there, so tasteful finds are hard to come by!

Outfit Idea 3: Make It Edgy – Wear A Leather Jacket & Animal Print Boots
We’re heading to Disney World later this year with my whole fam, so vintage Mickey has made it into my current rotation, even though typically I’d steer away from any and all character shirts. Haha. But if there’s something you love, like an old sweatshirt like this one, you can toughen it up with a moto jacket and snake print boots… to veer away from the “is that grown-up wearing a cartoon?” territory and balance it out with your badass self.
