merino wool wrap – Icebreaker Bliss Wrap  I bought this magical wrap/cardigan/sweater a few years ago and don’t know how I lived without it. It’s super versatile – check out the video to see how to wear it four different ways (I made up a 5th way that’s a hybrid of the wrap around and front button, tutorial on request!) It’s the softest non-itchy merino wool blend, great for travel when you don’t have access to laundry – virtually unstinkable! Crumple it up and the wrinkles fall out so you always look chic, even after an overnight flight or million hour delay at O’Hare. calendar – Travel the World Desk Calendar  Rifle Paper does the most beautiful illustrations. Bright drawings of new destinations each month complete with a stylish local lady are so cool. Definitely will spur some imaginary trip planning sessions, especially fun during blizzards! May be the secret to how I survived last winter…

map book – Book of Maps  Ok so this is actually for kids, but the illustrated maps are so detailed and fun I think adults would enjoy the heck out of this book. And it could be a fun activity to read with the kids when they get tired of snow fort building (as if) or they’re home sick with the bug du jour.

boots – Seychelles Lucky Penny Booties  The only shoe she’ll need to pack – they’re so cute with skinnies, shorts, dresses, all the things! These booties look so perfect for long days exploring new cities – the heel’s small enough to wear all day and reviewers love them. I die over this pewter leather but they come in taupe, black or navy blue suede. So cute and effortlessly stylish. (Update: Readers, I bought them. It’s ok, I’ve been very good this year.)
