I’m calling this my “casual-to-fancy mom” Black Friday sale picks. Which pretty much sums me up. As a WAHM my life can be casual for the most part, but the minute I can dress up, I do. I also just decided that I want to dress as if I’m going to the office of my dreams and not what used to be my youngest son’s nursery. #dressforthejobyouwant

Note: My size has gone down and then up this year, and I’ve had to change my sizes. Don’t worry about ordering a size up if that’s what you need for it to look perfect on you. It’s just a number. Also! Order two sizes if you’re not sure, then return whatever doesn’t work.

Julieta’s Black Friday Shopping List: Casual AND Fancy

1. Loeffler Randall Croc Tall Boots – 25% Off

I’ve been obsessed with these boots for months, but they’re on the higher end, so I really need to think it through. Bloomingdale’s is already taking over $100 off. These are selling out everywhere, but I’ve spent quite some time searching similar boots for less. Here are my favorites so far:

2. Whistles Hourglass Glen Plaid Double-Breasted Blazer – 30% Off

I’ve returned 3 oversized blazers this season. I love how they look on many, but not on me. Then I saw Balenciaga’s hourglass blazers and fell in love. I know! Balenciaga. But I found this one, and love the classic vibe with the little something the silhouette and buttons provide. Wear it for the office, but also with jeans and flat shoes.

4. Reformation Wallflower Dress – 30% Off

Reformation is having 30% off! I can imagine this dress with some black sheer tights and tall boots. I also think I could make them more casual layered over jeans like I did here.

5. MOTHER SuperiorTripper Jeans – Up To 25% Off

This is my favorite MOTHER denim fit. They feel and look like those jeans that have taken me a LOT of wears to break-in since the first wear. Best way to wear them? They are great with sandals in the warmer months, but right now ankle boots with a lightly higher shaft look best. If you want to see how they fit, I showed a video on my Instagram a few months ago.

Another MOTHER pair but in a darker wash. This one is less distressed and the fabric composition in a little different — it has 6% of polyester (the one above doesn’t).

I’ve been craving pants that are not jeans, then found these trousers. I can imagine them with some tan booties like the ones shown, and either a black or cream sweater for that casual-yet-fancy look.

Last year I declared that these were the best high-rise jeans (see full post here). They’re the perfect jeans to make outfits more interesting over the holidays.

I recently got this in the green color, but I’m now wishing I ordered the red. This size is perfect to hold the basics and comes in lots of colors. See them all here.

11. SPANX® OnCore Open-Bust Mid-Thigh Shaper Bodysuit – 20% Off

No panty lines or thigh chafe, and smooth control. If I’m wearing a dress I always wear shapewear. If you feel your regular size is too tight, get a size up — it’s not about squeezing yourself into it.

I’ve loved this ever since I tried it on here. Give yourself a hug every time you slip it on. I’m still trying to decide on a color, which one do you like?

13. Madewell Ex-Boyfriend Cardigan Sweater – 30% Off

You can see pictures of this in my recent Madewell try-on. It’s perfect. And while I’m not a cardigan person, the length and color blocking changed my mind. Perfect for staying cozy at home or dressed up with jeans and heeled boots.

14. Marc Fisher Izzie Boots – 25% Off

I can’t accept the fact that winter is coming, but these boots might help. Love the chic and stylish look that seems functional, too. Check Nordstrom if your size/color is not available (not the same sale though).

15. T3 Twirl Trio Clip Barrel Curling Iron Set
