Hey-o. Let’s talk bras and undies. I’m not someone who gets that excited about bras and undies, but I want them to function beautifully. And by beautifully I mean comfortably. And by comfortably I mean, I want to feel like they’re not even there.
When we say best around here, 9 out of 10 times that also means comfortable, and this post is no exception (this is literally the softest bra, ever). Are these the most gorgeous push-up bras and fancy undies of 2020? No. Are these the comfiest, well-reviewed bras and undies of the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? Yes! We think they are. And they’re pretty, too. Honestly, I was impressed with some of the fun colors here. I’m not a total bore when it comes to undergarments.
We talk a lot about bralettes around here — it’s also one of our most-requested posts. What better time to stock up on comfy bralettes for fall and winter than right now…while they’re on sale?! Yeppers. And I queried you lovely readers on Facebook the other day about undies that would actually cover my booty. I’m not a thong gal, but I know many of you are, so I did include a couple of pairs of those. But, also, some well-reviewed suggestions from you lovely people that cover more assets. Zing! We’ve got some full coverage options for top and bottom, some fun colors, and even some lace thrown in. (Comfy lace, have no fear!)

The Best Bras Wireless Bras In The #NSale
1/ True & Co True Body V Neck Bralette: Hands-down the most comfortable bra for the colder months. And if you wear a lot of tees like me, you can wear it year-round. I literally sleep in this in the winter when it’s too cold to change out of my daytime tee and sweater at night. It’s perfect for staying elsewhere when you want a comfy bra to wear around your host’s home, too. (You know that situation.) This one is more of a lounge bra or for smaller chests who don’t need lift or for wearing under sweaters and sweatshirts, as it’s SO comfy but not super-supportive. Have no fear, though, those of us who need a little lift have options below. Chart says sizes fit 30B-40 A/B. Comes in a range of pretty neutral shades and has removable light padding. My favorite is the bronzed color which works seamlessly under white tees for me and most likely would for a range of skin tones.
2/ Natori Bliss Perfection: This bra gets a TON of great reviews. I haven’t personally tried it but some reviews said comfiest wireless bra, great for fuller cup sizes, and straps stay on your shoulders. It comes in black, rose beige and cafe shades in sizes 30B-36DDD. This might be the next wireless bra I try out. It has a regular hook and eye back closure. This could be a plus for some who don’t want a pullover-style bra.
3/ True & Co True Body Lift Full Cup Racerback: Here we are with the option for those of us who need some lift and a fuller cup. Nordstrom doesn’t have True&Co’s full line (the Lift Triangle Bra in fuller cup size is my favorite everyday bra!) but this one is a great option for tanks and dresses right now, and for blouses or crewneck tops. The racerback provides the most support of their styles, but the v-neck is so wearable with many different tops. Sizes fit from 30DD/DDD – 40DD. This comes in black and a pale pink and also has the removable pads.
4/ Honeydew Keagan Seamless Crop: This little lounge bralette/cami is the most reasonable of the bunch, under $12. It gets good reviews and looks like a super-comfy option for all this at-home we have these days. This is unlined and low support, but looks comfy for layering right now under flowy tank dresses or those caftans I’m still wearing around. I want to think I’m carefree and can feel comfortable going braless these days, but I really don’t. I like something on. This would be good for throwing on in the morning or evening. These just come in S-XL and the reviews say they have quite a bit of stretch.
5/ B.Tempt’d Lace Kiss: The prettiest! Ok, while I want a workhorse bra for the most part, I’ll admit this one is gorg. I prefer lining or light padding because of the shape of my boobs, but would be willing to give this a try. This is selling quickly actually and is mostly left in a pretty aqua. The sizing is S-XL and is recommended for 32-36 band and A-C cup sizes. It’s also a steal under $12!
6/ True & Co True Body Lift Racerback: This is the same lift racerback as above, but for A-C cup sizes. These are seriously the greatest bras, so snag them on sale!
The Best Underwear In The #NSale
7/ Chantelle Seamless High Waist Full Briefs: This is the plus-size option for the Chantelle Seamless. Some people rave about how good these are and some are saying the one size doesn’t necessarily fit all plus size, which makes sense. I wanted to include extended sizes in this roundup, but unfortunately, there weren’t a lot of options in the sale. We’ll have to do some digging for more. These got overall the best ratings in general, though!
8/ Chantelle Soft Stretch High Waist Briefs: The Chantelle Seamless line of undies gets some of the best reviews and many of you on FB agreed! I’ve ordered a pair from the sale to try so I’ll keep ya updated. You also recommended Soma Vanishing Edge undies and omg I love! Can’t wait to compare them to the Chantelle. The one size thing always makes me hesitant but these get so many good reviews!
9/ Hanky Panky boyshort: These were — by far — a favorite in my question posed on our FB page. I just got them in and am wearing them right now, and I’ll agree they’re super-comfy! They’re also one of the prettiest options. They have pretty good bum coverage and I don’t see any VPL in my jeans right now. I have on a Medium, which is my typical undies size. I’d size down if you’re between sizes. These come in some fun colors and sized XS-L.
10/ Chantell Soft Stretch Thong: These are Shana’s favorites. She definitely wanted me to include them. Chantelle has really lovely colors and if you’re a thong-tho-thong-thong-thong gal, these may be awesome for you. I’m so sorry. I’ve not gotten a ton of sleep this week and am possibly highly caffeinated right now. Hahaha. The fabric on all of the Chantelle look so soft and amazingly light.
11/ Hanky Panky thong: These have been a long time favorite of many. I have a couple of pairs of these that I resort to when I have to wear a thong. I will admit they’re seriously not bad for what they are, and I have friends who this is all they wear, still. Fun colors and these (unlike the boyshorts) come in one size.
12/ Spanx Undie-tectable Lace hi-hipster: Talk about good reviews…AND they’re comfortable and pretty, and apparently also ‘give you a good rear’ WOW. Holy grail of undies? Not sure. They come in taupe and black and sizing says they run small, so go up a size. I love the lace and am honestly surprised they get 500+ 4.5 star reviews with a full lace back. Perhaps they’re the perfect blend of pretty AND practical. Worth a try, too, I’m thinking!

This is obviously a very small list of options, but there’s no time like a sale time to stock up on some true favorites!
